    Good morning everyone,

Grey, damp and cool here. Definitely feels Autumn has arrived. Had another broken night with pooch's dicky tum. He wasn't impressed either! He's away home until this evening and was full of beans running on the beach earlier so clearly feeling okay in himself. Hopefully the vet can give some answers.

Didn't get the chicken and rice soup made yesterday so once I've finished my cuppa I'll get that underway. I need to sort Hector & Frank's veg too. Frank is a massive eater so gets through a mountain of the stuff so he feels full but doesn't gain weight.

Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with a fruit plate for lunch. Chicken & rice soup with croutons and salad for dinner.

MIA yesterday as out for the day with friends which involved yummy, filling lunch and tea and cake 😋 so nothing much needed when I got home!

Out for a swim and grocery shop this morning before early lunch of avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast as was out with family this afternoon. Just had a honey and mustard marinated chicken thigh, new potato, carrot and pea traybake. Lots of LO chicken and a few potatoes 😊

I took EF out for a pub lunch as it was her birthday last week, good recommendation from ex-manager on a village pub She did keep complaining her beef was tough so I called over waiter and she then said to him oh it's not the meat it's my false teeth 🫣 Mine was very nice! I did need a puddling afterwards as I couldn't drink 😁 panettone bread and butter pudding 😋

    No dinner required

Dull & cooler, but not unpleasant, Rain maybe tonight?

Sounds nice Sunday pub lunch Brambling, shame you could not drink & had to have panettone bread and butter pudding instead, a brave sacrifice while doing a good turn. 😉

For a change I'm getting a delivered shop this week, normally I mooch around Morries between Asda fortnightly deliveries, but my tumble has shaken me up more than I thought, so with that I've made a list for Waitrose on Wednesday, taking the opportunity to get some "decent" cheese, meat & fish delivered. Asda is fine mainly, but some things they just do not sell on line, although possibly available in store.

Lunch, TBD, could well be the lonely C & O pasty, or a cheese toasty

    Dinner, the postponed Veggie lasagne

    Good morning everyone,

Hope you get your confidence back soon Farway, I know mine got dented when I fell back in February and took longer than the bruises to recover.

Nice sounding food JKS and Brambling.

Much needed physio session at lunchtime. It's very grey and there's been some thundery showers so I'm hoping not to get drenched. Feet up for a bit after lunch and then some gentle chores are about the extent of my plans. HM chicken and rice soup for lunch. Making this curry for dinner Chickpea, spinach and egg curry recipe - BBC Food which we'll have with rice/cauli rice, Greek yoghurt and salad.

I had such a bad night as I must have picked up a bug in Brighton. I managed to get to sleep around 5 and just have got up and had a shower and feel much better. I just had a bowl of grapes and then toasted crumpets with Flora.

I might have a veggie lasagne too with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, radishes in a Mary Berry dressing I bought. That might be dinner, not sure about lunch.
