    Good morning everyone,
    Dry and bright this morning.
I'm definitely snotty and low on energy again.  :(
Ari is arriving later to stay for a couple of days.
LO sausage for lunch. Turkey breast stuffed with black pudding for dinner. We'll have it with peppercorn sauce, mushrooms, green veg and potatoes.

It’s a bit grey today and the brisk wind is making it feel quite chilly.

I have my bus pass Farway and am lucky to be just a 5min walk to the bus stance. There is a reasonably good amount of local buses to the surrounding towns and villages as well as express services to the cities and beyond.

A delivery pass is a really good idea Caronc and something I will consider. I did a couple of big shops of household and foodstuffs before I gave up the car so there is no immediate rush. The local bus will take me to a shopping complex that has an asda, aldi, b&m, home bargains, argos and matalan so maybe a shopping trolley might be something I should think about  B)

Ham salad for lunch and for later I’ll do a new to me recipe of Baked monkfish with lemon and rosemary breadcrumb, roast potatoes & green veg

I had a bagel and some fruit for breakfast. I'm back home now and I'm going to make myself some lunch. I can't remember what we have in the fridge and freezer.

It was quite grey and dull in Kent, but it is sunny here. The house felt freezing as the heating has been off for a few days. I am doing some washing and have the heating on.

  • Frosty start here and then turned into a bright but cold day, much better than grey and wet!

Set to with a few domestic chores this morning before going out for very enjoyable, yummy lunch. Done some ironing and work lunch prep this evening. Just had a cheese and chutney sandwich with a 🍷

I hope you have been taking it easy Caronc  :)

A blue sky here as well  :) I'll take the slight chill over the rain

I went to visit my elderly friend lunch time and after a bacon sandwich went through a lot of her personal admin, she has no family so I'm her executive in her will and have her LPA although neither is needed yet.  We wanted to make sure that I had any useful information and knew where all her paperwork was. I also spent a lot of time filling in a request for a blue badge for her, boy was it easier when I did my mums 25 years ago 🙄 she does have attendance allowance which is a plus but they want so much information and proof of her lack of mobility, unfortunately I couldn't get her tablet to allow me to add photos of her docs etc. Gone are the days you feel in a form and the doctor signs it 🙄

A nice easy dinner of mussels in garlic sauce and a crusty roll

    Good morning everyone,
    Dry but cloudy here today.
I seem less bunged so fingers crossed it really is on the way out this time!
"Fridge gravel" veg soup on the go to cover a few days lunches.
Started to declutter my clothes yesterday so far there's a bag of stuff only fit for recycling ready to go to the clothes bin at the dump. Today I hope to start on the stuff for charity - having been gradually losing weight over the past year I'm finally properly in a smaller size.  :)
HM soup for lunch with a turkey salad wrap. Breaded haddock, veg and baked spuds for dinner.

I had to go out and pick up my prescription this morning. It feels quite warm and sunny out there. I had a roll and a smoothie when I got home.

I'm going to make fries in the AF later and have it with whatever I have left. I'm trying to eat almost everything in the freezer before I do another online shop to save some money.

Frosty again but the sun came out sooner than expected.

Now that I am doing more walking I headed off early on the bus to go into the city and get new trainers - Gosh how they have gone up in price since I last bought.

Had a quick browse around some of the clothes shops and in m&s bought some underwear and couldn’t resist a mooch around the foodhall. This is where it gets dangerous because its way too close to the bus station - I didn’t quite resist everything I picked up a yellow stickered wood-fired pizza which I’m going to cook soon and will probably graze on for the rest of the day.

Well done on the weight loss Caronc, I need to start being good - but after todays shopping trip I'll start my healthy eating plan tomorrow  :*

Another one with a frosty start this morning, now it's just grey & cold with rain on the way.

Into town for prescription and, similar to N2B, into Marks, I came out with YS bacon, YS posh fancy cheese selection YS fresh Scottish kippers and a lovely cauliflower.
I recommend a shopping trolley N2b, I was always using mine when I could walk OK, and it helps with MS as well because you know just what can fit in before you buy.

The YS bacon provided lunchtime BLT
YS kippers & yummy cauli for dinner, I'll make a cheese sauce for the cauli.

  • Bit of a late night watching the Rafa/Alcatraz match so needed my alarm this morning and feel exhausted now. Have had a really good day in the office and finished nearly on time 🙃

One of the pitta pizzas (topped with mozzarella, mushrooms, red pepper and sweetcorn) with coleslaw and salad for lunch. Made creamy horseradish salmon, smoked salmon, broccoli and pea pasta tonight.
