It looks sunny and bright here. Very nice for the time of year!
I haven't had anything yet, only a cup of cherry herbal tea. I took the cauliflower cheese soup out to defrost yesterday so I will probably have a big bowl of that with a roll or two.0 -
Good morning everyone,
Still wabbit so not planning much. Sis and nephew coming for dinner, I started a white bean and chicken mince chilli yesterday so not much to do later. We'll have it with baked spuds and salad.
The baked bean recipe made a huge amount even though I just made half the recipe. There's a tub for the freezer which will do DS2 and I another meal and enough for lunch. Just as well they were tasty!0 -
Started bright but cold here, didn’t last and turned grey and damp and really cold 🥶
Was glad of my reheated LO chorizo and broccoli pasta at lunchtime. Just had early tea of beans with toast, swimming later so there may be cake with a cuppa when I get back 😉0 -
Today was pretty much like yesterday except it was dry 🙂
LO beef for lunch in a roll using up some part bake ones. Dinner was a large portion of vegetable soup with the last of almost forgotten hummus with toasted pitaLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Good morning everyone,
Back to dull and wet, it's supposed to milder but it doesn't feel it!
First day in almost a week I haven't woke up feeling exhausted. Not quite raring to go but nice not to be wanting an immediate nap. Having learned a lesson with a recent flare up I'm going to take it easy. Yes there are jobs needing done but the dust isn't going anywhere!
DS2 has headed to North Yorkshire early doors for a site meeting but hopes to get away mid afternoon so Hector and I will hopefully enjoy a chilled day.
The chilli was well received and LOs have headed home with my sis so fridge rake for lunch today. The last time DS2 visited the Tebay farm shop he bought some of their scrumptious Moroccan spiced lamb meatballs. We're having them tonight with a HM tomato & veg sauce and pasta.0 -
Dull, dry and quite chilly but early start with Asda delivery, everything just as ordered this week, no subs or out of stock items so no super swaps either. With the delivery, I was a bit spoilt for choice for today's meals, all tasty stuff on a chilly daySettled on toasted muffins & marmite for lunchDinner, roast chicken, HM roast veggies + fresh Spring cabbage, part of the Asda / Lidl price match promo, as was the fresh chickenEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

I caught a slight cold at the weekend and woke up really coughing this morning. I took paracetamol and went back to sleep and feel a lot better. It definitely doesn't feel like Covid as I didn't have any fever.
I had toast with Flora and Marmite when I got up. I have the last of my HM soup to have later.2025 GOALS

Usual Wednesday morning of meetings (3 today) and then into the office to catch up with a few people, was exhausted by home time!
Nana’s magic soup and a cheese topped roll for lunch. Went swimming this evening so a quick prawn, broccoli and red pepper sweet chilli noodles thrown together when I got home 😋0 -

It’s a Tesco recipe from one of their tv ads a while back:

Hope you enjoy it.
We’d love to have you on the CFO thread whenever you feel like popping in 😊
