I had a toasted bagel with flora for breakfast.
I bought these Tesco Plant Chef No Meat pies and I am going to try them when I get back. I will be cooking for two as my husband is off work for 3 months so he is at home. I will have one with chips, steamed veggies and gravy. Mmm.
The workman took up the flooring yesterday and it was taken away with the bulky waste so my garden looks relatively good now the patio has been fixed and my husband painted the decking.
The floorboards are in good condition so we could get them sanded etc.. I am going to get quotes from our usual workman and see if it would be cheaper to put down new laminate instead. The couple before had used a light grey laminate, but I think i would prefer a darker brown colour. I think it would suit the house more as it is old.0 -
Frank is definitely causing worries poor thing
Today was very much like yesterday although the piece of work we expected to take all day was finished by lunchtime 🙂 no complaints from either of us

Fairly productive wfh day, finally finished a task I have been trying to complete for a couple of weeks. Cheeky midweek day off tomorrow and having a day out 🙃
LO bacon and sweetcorn pasta for lunch. Beans with toast before swimming tonight. Apple and cheese with my cuppa whilst watching Bake Off.0 -
Those no meat pies were delicious. I do like most of the Plant Chef stuff from Tesco. Less than £3 for 4 pies as well which is pretty good. I made some of those ready made jacket potatoes with them and I actually used the oven for once! I did have it professionally cleaned so I should use it.
I am making burgers (also Plant Chef) with fries, salad and corn tonight.
I am going to batch cook soup just for me for lunch for today and the next couple of days. Probably tomato as I keep craving it. Celery, carrots, onions, tomatoes, a tin of tomatoes, a tin of coconut milk, chilli powder, paprika and vegetable boullion stock.
I am about to go out in an hour as the rain is supposed to stop by then. I just had some toast for breakfast.2025 GOALS

Ah, I remember Millers, never see them around now.I think the attraction back then, 60s 70s was sausages were used by butchers to get rid of rubbish meat and were normally full of gristle and odd gnarly bits with added sawdust off the butcher shop floor and stale crusts from the baker next door.Millers & Walls used same rubbish meat but somehow hid the gristle & gnarly bits, kept the sawdust though, left out the stale crusts and now call them Gluten free for extra premium pricingHad a rummage in the freezer to spot what else could be lurking, found a LO roasted chicken leg, now defrostingLunch, scrambled eggs on toast for something warmingDinner, the LO chicken leg, with HM AF chips and maybe use up saladLO Blackberry & apple crumble + LO tinned custard if space afterwardsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
Good morning everyone,
I'd rather a bit of gristle than a very smooth sausage like Richmonds though I know a lot of folk like them. Exploding sausages always make me think of camping with the Guides, at least you knew the burst ones were more likely to be cooked through!
Aiming for a pottering day today, DS2 headed to site visit first thing so just me and Hector until this evening. I need to finalise my Tesco order and look out logs bags to hand back tomorrow when the new delivery arrives.
LO pasta for lunch and I'm trying out this green lentil curry with added aubergine tonight Green Lentil Curry Recipe | Vegan Curry Recipes | Tesco Real Food1
