Dragged myself back to the office today and had a really productive day 😀
Nana’s magic soup and a cheese topped bread roll for lunch. Chorizo and chickpea stew from the freezer with a toasted pitta tonight.
Having an easy evening catching up with some recorded programmes.0 -
I don't like Richmond sausages either Caronc but then I'm fussy about them 😁Farway I think Millers were taken over in the 80s or early 90s 🤔
Hygienist appointment this morning which was painful on my wallet 🫣 I picked up some spiced fruit buns from M&S when I picked up a voucher and took them back to my sister for breakfast. We went out to the art shop so I could buy her birthday present and came home via the farm shop and then the garden centre for a sandwich. My brother and two sisters all have birthdays within 10 days 😯
I picked my prescription up and no it seems 4pm on a Thursday is not a quiet time 🙄
dinner was pan fried sea bass fillets from the freezer brought when they were YS of course with green vegLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

I had fruit and toast for breakfast and a sandwich and soup for lunch.
I went out to have a facial tonight. I'm 47 and haven't ever had a proper one and wasnt sure what to expect. It was quite relaxing and I could feel how much tension I have in my jaw as I grind my teeth at night. She did a lot of facial massage. I'm going to try and do it myself at home with my own products if I remember what she did.
I realised she lives 5 mins walk from a cafe I like on my way home so I stopped and had dinner there. Veggie BBQ wings with coleslaw and a beer.🥰

Good morning everyone,
The curry was okay Wednesday but needs some tweaking as a bit underwhelming, I think the suggestion of blitzing it with coconut milk to make soup is a good idea. There's some LOs and debating whether to jazz them up or be naughty and ditch them. There's still pasta LO from Wednesday which I'll have for lunch.
Drizzling but it hasn't deterred my sis taking Hector & Ari to the beach.
Logs are due at some point and Tesco is due late afternoon. My challenge for today is to do bit of freezer tidying and make soup for lunch tomorrow. DS1 & DIL-to-be (and Frank) are coming down and chicken, veg and rice has been requested.
Dinner will be the usual Friday freezer rake.1 -
Wet start this morning, but sunny nowWith the gloomy morning, I thought I'd get on and make the planned leek & potato soup, which I did, and it now just needs a final blitz and a reheat for lunchI also, or TBH the bread maker, made an instant mix loaf. The mix was nearly OOD and fresh HM soup demands fresh HM crusty breadDinner, depends on the day, most likely is more HM soup + HM bread because I also have HM crumble to fill any gapsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

I had a smoothie when I was out just now, cookie dough flavoured.:) The smoothies I buy there really fill me up as they use nut butters. I should try that at home as it would be much cheaper. I will just copy their recipes as they list all the ingredients in each one.
I wore my jumper but it is too mild still so I changed into a t-shirt when I got in. It is lovely weather for the time of year.
I am craving chips and mushy peas for some reason so I am going to make some chips in the air fryer in about an hour. I have some tins of mushy peas in the cupboard. I might have a veggie sausage in the AF too.

Cheese on toast with some tinned tomatoes for lunch. Salmon with a cream cheese and pesto sauce, rice and tenderstem broccoli tonight.0 -
Lazy day for me, I've slept really badly this week and this morning it caught up with me, so I sorted the cat and went back to bed until the bin men woke me which left me a little fuzzy headed. I caught up on some housework than some recorded TV and finished my book. It was a grey day out side anyway and now heavy rain
I did make some chicken soup for lunch, I made the stock yesterday 😋. Freezer rummage found a black bean burger which was dinner with some HM coleslaw, salad and sweet potato friesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
