Caronc - my legs are always bruised due to my dog jumping up on me.
I just ate out for lunch after reflexology. I feel very relaxed this time and not tired like last month. I had a pumpkin spice latte and roasted tomato soup with sourdough. Delicious.0 -
Rain arrived late afternoon here and has been chucking down ever since. Another long day of various meetings and another late finish, glad I had another easy dinner planned.
Another lunchbox of harissa roasted carrot and mixed grain salad. Just a reheat of a portion of the nutty sweet potato stew from the freezer tonight. I did also toast a pitta bread 😂0 -
Good to hear that Frank has his bounce back Caronc even if you are now paying the price
The bad weather started here early afternoon, the cat isn't happy, heavy rain and it is sounding a little windy now.Tomato soup from the freezer for lunch with a small piece of cheese on toast. With Asda smoked mackerel fillets, on two for a fiver offer, and maybe use up frozen peasNext time I spot leeks when mooching I may get some, I'm fancying leek & potato soup right now!

Good morning everyone,
Yes Frank is definitely full of beans Brambling, still too skinny but gaining weight nicely. It's hard to believe he was so poorly just a short while ago.
Tipping it down here and gusty but not too bad so far. Unless the storm area moves slightly we'll miss the worst of it thankfully. I feel sorry for folk living in those areas battered at the beginning of the month who are getting hammered again.
DS2 had gone to Newcastle, he'll be back this evening. I'm going to crack on with the club accounts.
Felt quite MSE yesterday, I used some of the LO tomato/orzo mix to make a quick portion of soup yesterday adding peas and chicken stock. Hit the spot nicely for lunch. The meatballs I added to veg to make a stew which I had with mash. LOs for lunch. Tonight it's Thai green chicken and veg curry.1 -
I could not get to sleep last night. The reflexologist said that some of her clients get more energy after a few treatments. I finally got to bed about 3!
I haven't eaten yet as I only woke up at 11. I am expecting an Amazon delivery and Ocado delivery soon.
I just saw that Amazon parcel was left outside the front door. I ordered some magnesium flakes for the bath as the reflexologist recommended them to me.
I'm going to have a shower and get dressed and then have breakfast. I did order some new tinned soup in the shopping as it was on offer so I might have that with some toast.

Another long and slightly challenging day 🙄
On the plus side, had a nice lunch at a work event so only needed cheese and tomatoes on toast this evening.0 -
Today was very much like yesterday just a little less rain although it has ramped up a little now ☔️ there was due to be a fire work display at the school around the corner but as I haven't heard any I'm assuming unless they went for a silent one rain stopped it. I got his lordship in nice and early as well so he hasn't been happy even though I told him it was for his own good 😁
Pita bread with hummus and grated carrot for lunch. Dinner was pan fried salmon, new potatoes, beans and broccoli

I made overnight oats last night - porridge oats, oat milk and lots of strawberries and so that is my breakfast.
It is heavy rain all day, but at least it isn't too cold. I need to go out soon so I will be catching the bus instead of walking!2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
Very blowy here but dry(ish) and we seem to have missed the full storm.
Tesco due soon and then I'm for a quiet day as I feel a tad meh. A combination of the stormy weather and an outbreak of the nasal herpes I get from time to time I think.
LOs for lunch and if I cba cooking later mince and tatties for dinner.0
