It's a shame about your Waitrose order Farway especially as rump steaks are on offer.I hope the boys behaved Caronc 🐶 🐶
Dentidt appointment this morning and as expected she removed my wisdom tooth, other than the cracking noise it made it was painless at the time, tonight it's bruised and sore 🦷 and will probably need pain meds before bed. The cost was less painful then I expected as it was an emergency they still did it as NHS so only £25 and will do until September and then it is only private 😕
Watering tonight I picked my first greenhouse tomatoes 😁 only 3 cherry tomatoes but there is a vine of about six nearly ready. Next year I'll plant less in there but first year was a practice, they are definitely a lot bigger than my outside ones used to be.I had a big breakfast to cover lunch as well, and scrambled egg of dinner to keep it softLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
Tomatoes look good 😋
Wfh today and, whilst I got interrupted and taken off track from my huge to do list a few times, I got absolutely loads done and feel like I am back on top of everything.
Reheated LO pasta for lunch. Indian snacks at a voluntary event this evening (plus brought some LOs home) 😉0 -
Brambling - I thought for one second that was going to be a picture of your tooth!
Last night I had noodles with broc, peas and carrots with the last of some Thai sweet chilli sauce on top.
I had two Paul Hollywood part baked rolls with marg for breakfast as I was hungry as I ate quite early last night. They were quite nice.
It has been pouring with rain here this morning. I have to wait for an Amazon delivery and a call back from the new reflexologist. I contacted her yesterday morning by email and she got back to me straight away and said she would call after her clients and so I was expecting her to get back to me by phone yesterday. I have got a cross body bag out of my wardrobe to put my mobile phone in as I got sick of carrying my phone around in my hand from room to room all day yesterday!
I am going to make chilli beans with onions to have with vegan cheese, yoghurt, jalapenos and tortilla chips later. I'm not sure if that will be lunch or dinner.

Good morning everyone,
Lovely looking tomatoes Brambling. I had a two ripe ones last week but the rest haven't even started to change colour yet. Only two cues so far as well.
Pooches were boisterous but fairly well behaved yesterday. I was shattered come the evening but nothing an early night didn't solve.
Back to the kitchen deep clean/deep clutter today.
There's some chicken LO as wasn't hugely hungry last night so only had a half a drumstick. Will either have it for lunch with salad or add it to pasta or rice tonight. I seem to have under estimated the amount of non-salad veg I'd need this week so there's limited fresh options between today and Friday but there's various tinned and frozen veg. I thought there were more HM frozen RMs lurking than I've found. They are either hiding (very possible lol) or they've been used and I've forgotten!0 -
Envy you the tomatoes Brambling, none of mine are near that stage, and good news on the tooth as wellSunnyish & warm, went to Morries instead of Mark's this morning, I needed to post a letter & there's a box at Morries but not Mark'sMy Morries is a poor relation now to what it was, empty shelves and some manky produce, never found the fresh salmon despite a fish counter, never asked, as a bloke, it's either in my face or do withoutHowever, I did see & buy some yummy pork loins and a YS MFO Chicken Korma for tonight, plus what I originally wanted, toms & cucumber, and some frozen kippers "just in case"Lunch, tin of sardines, grilled on toastDinner, as above YS MFO Chicken KormaEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

I had the chilli and tortilla chips for lunch. I added sweetcorn and shredded lettuce and it was delicious!
The rain has cleared up so I hung up some laundry outside.2025 GOALS

Yes, strange weather day here - sunny and warm suddenly at 6 this evening 🤔
Offsite meeting this morning, which dragged on…unfortunately lunch was in the fridge at home - more veggie noodles with peanut dressing but with added LO tandoori chicken from last night’s event 😋
Swimming this evening and then a quick prawn, pepper and cashew egg fried rice for tea. There’s loads of drama programmes saved on the sky box but I’m just too tired to concentrate on them at the moment so have come to bed with tea, iPad and book.0 -
The tomato's got eaten as I waited for the kettle to boil this morning and the ones in the greenhouse didn't make it into the house after watering tonight 😋 no more for a while as the rest are all very green. My manager was back after nearly threes holiday which meant a fun catch-up meeting with offshore 🙄Scrambled egg for lunch, nice and soft. Flat bread pizza for dinner with chicken and vegetables topping and aside saladLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0

Good morning everyone,
Dry here just now.
Last day of CFO as DS2 reurns tomorrow though we each usually do our own thing on Friday evenings.
More cleaning today, it's so much easier without a pooch helper!
Inspired by this article Cottage cheese is back! Readers on 16 delicious ways to use it – from lasagne to potatoes to pancakes | Cheese | The Guardian I used cottage cheese to make a creamy spinach sauce to have with pasta last night. Worked really well though I should have blitzed it more as the sauce was a little grainy. Tasted great though. Cottage cheese salad for lunch to use up the rest and I've sausages defrosting to make a traybake tonight. They're beef ones LO from making steak pie at New Year so will make a change from the usual pork ones.0
