Well done to DGD Farway, looks like a gorgeous location. Yes will be a very different weather environment especially if she's there mid-winter.0

Showery on and off here today but managed a trip to the garden centre and a bit of planting in the sunshine. Also got a couple of loads of washing dry.Use up of the tapas bits for lunch with some of the baguette (rest has been chopped up and frozen, it was better value to buy a full size one rather than a demi 🙄). Walked to Lidl after lunch for a few bits, it’s that kind of a week shopping-wise. Saved a few quid as the wine I had a money off voucher for was out of stock.
Made bacon and mushroom risotto tonight, served with sugar snap peas. Also prepped fruit and packed lunch for tomorrow. Back to the grindstone but quite an interesting week one way or another and off again on Friday 🙃0 -
Your GD is doing very well Farway maybe grandad should gift her some thermals for Scotland after sunny Hampshire 😁
Pottering day for me, still keeping a eye on work emails to see if they have managed to fix the servers yet
gsmmon and cheese wrap for lunch. I wasn't that hungry dinner time so just had some fruit and yoghurtLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
Sunny start this morning, I may get out pottering & pruning in garden later if the weather holds, rain is due sometime but maybe not until tomorrowAnother morning I fancied and ate a cooked breakfast, I had a pack of "bacon bits" in my delivery, but some were OK to grill if you are not fussy about presentationLunch, salad sandwich is very likelyDinner, I'm clearing the potatoes out ready for fresh supplies on Wednesday, so it's frozen microwaveable Pukka steak pie & HM mash, with frozen mixed veg for convenienceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Good morning everyone,Physio at lunchtime which I am and am not looking forward to. Four weekly seems to be the max before my back starts playing up again and it's been very twingey the past few days so definitely needing "battered and zapped" again! I'm hoping it dries up a bit before I need to head out - it's tipping it down just now.I've a bit of voluntary admin to do and a lasagne for tomorrow to finish but apart from that nothing much planned.LOs for lunch and tacos tonight - either pulled pork or refried beans from the freezer. I'll see which one DS2 fancies as I'm happy with either.0

I was too tired to go to the cinema yesterday. We just stayed in and watched TV. My husband's friend was finishing off our bathroom and he didn't leave until 5pm anyway.
I just had a bread roll with some vegan ham/cheese.
Did I say I seem to be okay with gluten/wheat now? It was after I had reflexology last week. She was touching my foot with a little stick and I felt blinding pain at one point and then felt like I was going to vomit, but it obviously must have done something as I had gluten Friday, Saturday, Sunday and today and I feel fine!1 -

I'm sure last time that was what cured my vertigo back in 2017 when I had a course of reflexology. The NHS were useless and couldn't even tell me what was causing it.2025 GOALS

Very interesting about the reflexology. I remember being told once about the reflexologist being able to tell that the lady she was treating was pregnant just from touching her feet.
Went straight to an offsite meeting this morning but was very nearly late due to awful traffic. Went into the office afterwards and caught up with various people but didn’t seem to actually do very much.
Tuna, lentil and chargrilled pepper salad for lunch. Reheated LO risotto with the end of the sugar snaps plus some frozen peas tonight. There was half a glass of wine to declutter too 😉1 -
Another fun day at work, although they were able to uncouple some of our system from the group servers so it could be used but otherwise we were still systemless again today 🙄
gammon for lunch with salad and Caronc's French carrot salad. Rump steak from the freezer for dinner with chips and veg, a lovely Waitrose steak which was on offer a third off when I brought it which made it lot tastier 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0
