I have to go back for a blood test to see if I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. The xray came back okay. I have the appointment in June. Everytime I fill out an econsult request they ask about alcohol intake as I guess it could be confused with gout. My uncle had gout and said it was extremely painful.

I had vegan cream cheese on toast with a glass of pink grapefruit juice this morning. I think I am going to stop buying the plant based cheese spread as they all seem quite tasteless. My husband agrees and he stopped eating dairy a few years ago. I just normally prefer something like Marmite anyway.

    Good afternoon everyone,
A rather chaotic morning between dogs and deliveries. That's all the main stuff arrived for the deck/drain project apart from the roof panels which have still to be ordered. I'm ready for some lunch and then a cuppa and my feet up for a bit.
LOs for lunch and sausage pasta using the blitzed juices/veg from last week's chicken & chorizo traybake as the base for the sauce.

Another mad office day but the advantage is it’s the last one for a while 🙃

LO pasta for lunch. Glad I planned an easy reheat tea - chorizo and butter bean stew from the freezer, crumbled the end of the feta on top and served with a toasted pitta.

An easy evening on the sofa here.

I've never been asked about my alcohol consumption relating to gout Wednesday 🙂 there is enough food I have too be careful about without looking at drink, luckily gin isn't on the list 😁

Work was busy but just tomorrow to go when I shall be on my own before I'm off next week. The morning was spent on a call with the boss trying to resolve some system issues and just as we were dropping off for lunch we were dragged into another call which meant a late 2pm lunch break finishing off the hummus with bread sticks and veggies.  Pasta with a vegetable and tomato sauce for dinner

My uncle did have problems with gout relating to alcohol, but I know it can be foods too. Must be annoying as well as painful.

I had a bad night of sleep last night. My Fitbit said it was "fair" but I feel tired out. I had to get up as I'm having a delivery.

I think I am going to have grilled mushrooms and tomatoes on toast and a smoothie this morning. I wanted to lose a few pounds now the weather is nicer so I need to stop eating so much junk!

Another sunny day ahead, very nice for those working & Bank Holiday, plus half-term. Unfortunately I have to venture onto the M27 tomorrow with the rest of the loons in the sunshine, family birthday gathering to attend
I've decided to keep the other cooked chicken quarter for tomorrow now, just in case I want a quick nibble, post birthday food. May well be the case as it's vegetarian based and some of it will be anti vampire food

Lunch, maybe mushrooms on toast because I have YS mushrooms
Dinner, Probably the ham chowder thing if I can drum up enough enthusiasm

    Good morning everyone,
Still have both pooches, think we broke Ari yesterday as he took himself to bed around 9pm and had to be persuaded to get up to go out for a pee later.
Tesco due soon, then some domestics. With the deck coming down tomorrow and concrete getting broken up there's no point in doing much housework though I'll give the bathroom it's usual clean.
LOs for lunch and tbc for dinner.
Probably won't be about much for a few days so hope everyone has a good weekend.

Ugh, another silly work day but that’s me done until a week on Monday 😀

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Chargrilled tuna steak and spring onions with gingery sweet potato mash and sesame and soy green beans tonight. Gin has been taken 🍸

Quiet work day which is just as well as I was the team today🤨

Egg and crab stick salad for lunch.  Back to proper cooking tonight as standing is no longer a issue 🙂 so I found the YS lamb steak from the freezer to try JKS lamb dish 😋

Sunny start to the day and woke to my overnight French loaf in the panny, with my new yeast.
The Alison's yeast seems to be back to bring my bread back to normal, so I'll bin the Asda stuff, no point in keeping it if it is going to be a disappointment, one of those things' where the brand is worth the extra money, although I've not tried every alternative baking yeast product

Only have to cater for lunch today, because I'm going over DS's for family birthday this afternoon, I expect we'll be sitting outside with this weather

Lunch, fresh bread for sarnie, maybe salady filling, with salad cream to drip down my front :/
