I had toast for breakfast and then crackers, pate and salad for lunch. I feel quite stuffed!

It was very warm when I popped out to drop off a donation bag to the chazzer earlier, but now it has seemed to have cooled down a bit which is typical as I just pegged out my washing. There was a thunderstorm here earlier. I had better check my app to see if there is more rain due.

I have been feeling quite warm at night which is a bit of a change from the very cold weather we have had. I have slept with my bedroom window open the last two nights and I think I sleep better with it open.

I didn't even have time to check the app as it just started pouring down and I had to go and rescue my washing! It does seem like living by the sea I can tell if it is going to rain or not. I didn't used to be this accurate in London.

Not a bad day work wise and it's Friday tomorrow 😁 popped to Waitrose after dinner for some fresh stuff and milk, my vouchers this week gave me £2 off as well 🙂

I made a potato salad for lunch to finish my jersey royals and mixed in a hard boiled egg😋 added it to the last of the spinach leaves and tomatoes and chopped up the last of the crab sticks on top.  Dinner was stuffed sea bass from the freezer a YS bargain with new potatoes and green veg

  • Yeah, not a bad work day for me either, and I almost left on time so home at a reasonable hour. Haven’t done much at all this evening, though.

Other lunchbox of carrot, lentil and goats cheese salad eaten at my desk today. I did go out for a lunch break (very rare) and was super efficient - returned something to one shop, collected an order from another, filled up with petrol all in under half an hour.

Made creamy mushroom, broccoli and Stilton gnocchi tonight. Was going to have spinach in but realised the broccoli wasn’t going to get used in anything else, the spinach goes better with tomorrow’s dinner 😉

    Good morning everyone,
Apart from a couple of IT problems the committee meeting went well so was worth all the number crunching.
Tesco is due soon and then various domestic chores need doing.
LO spag bol for lunch and usual Friday tbc for dinner. The forecast is great for tomorrow so a family bbq is planned, just a simple burgers, bangers and chicken wings one. I'll make the burgers later.

Weather cool but sunny, and of course rain on the way, from the east this time, hence the cold wind this morning, but tomorrow is supposed to be lovely, 20c & sunshine, hope, so then I can get my runner beans planted out

I'll have to get my Asda online list finalised sharpish for next week, I've just renewed the annual shopping pass, mid-week only. Thought I'd do it now just in case they follow W8rose & Tesco and increase price of delivery

Brambling, potato salad has given me an idea, I may make one later ready for the weekend. Ta

    Lunch today, eggs on toast
Dinner, the Marks YS MFO fish & chips, with some frozen peas and last of the YS apple turnovers

Pouring with rain earlier. It still looks very grey and rainy out there.

I had wholemeal pittas toasted with plant based cream cheese. A packet of crisps and I'm about to make some green tea. Dinner will be pie, chips, veg and gravy.

I'm not sure about lunch. Maybe just a tin of soup.

Grey, rainy on and off, and not very warm today - come on summer!

Was busy wfh today but don’t seem to have achieved very much, ho hum.

Spinach and ricotta tortellini with roasted peppers, sun dried tomatoes and the end of the bag of salad for lunch. Made chorizo, butter bean and spinach stew tonight, served with toasted pitta. There’s a portion of stew for the freezer 🙃

Hoping the forecast for the weekend is right and we get some dry, mild weather - the washing is piling up…
