Another busy work day and someone has dropped into the diary another  1.30pm meeting which meant another late lunch

lunch was a pork sandwich, my little £2.50 reduced pork joint is doing lots of meals and as it was from the Waitrose meat counter it's a nice meat 😋 dinner the LO spinach and ricotta cannellini

I'm half asleep as I fell asleep very early last night and then woke up and was awake for hours. My Fitbit said I had 9 hours, but there is no way that is accurate.

I just had fresh fruit and a coffee with oat milk. I'm about to make some toast.

Blue sky & sunshine this morning, but the East wind was bitter when I poked my nose out

Remembered to put a loaf on overnight, and it's now out & cooling for lunchtime sarnie
Thinking of cheese & pickle sarnie for lunch
Dinner, another salad with the sunshine, this time maybe tinned tuna & Mayo inside a nuked jacket spud to accompany the salad

    Good morning everyone,
Sunday and windy here this morning after another very chilly start. I'm making the most of the good drying weather before it breaks at the weekend.
Admin, admin and more admin for me today and for the next wee while. Lots happening with my voluntary group, this is also a very busy time of year for me but if I can manage an hour or so most days that should cover it.
LO shepherd's pie for lunch and pasta tonight with chorizo, tomato and HM wild garlic pesto.
  • Colder this morning but bright and breezy. Rain arrived early evening.

Didn’t sleep very well and have had a headache all day 🙄

Last of the peanut and veg noodle salad for lunch. Went for a drink after work as someone was leaving so got home late. I had forgotten this in my meal planning so swapped tonight with tomorrow and have had scampi, chips and peas tonight 😋

Wet evening here which meant I detoured from going to Sainsbury to Waitrose which has a underground car park. I was led astray and paid little attention to my list or menu plan  :o I ignored any YS with just a bit off but was tempted by the £2 stuffed chicken in a bag and the £1 250g piece of salmon from the fish counter (not needed but too good not to buy) as well as some YS berries.  Their rump steak is on offer at £2.50 so that also fell into the bag  :D my smart shop didn't end up as quick as I liked as I was stopped with a random check on checkout which turned out to be the whole shop, even through I knew I hadn't missed anything I still felt guilty 🙄 at least I was able to use my two vouchers this week which included 50p off my steak

A couple of meetings meant a very late lunch the last of the pork in a sandwich with pickles at 2.40pm. Once I got back from shop I still wasn't that hungry so had a toasted teacake from the freezer with a cuppa and a banana

Rain back this morning, but I enjoyed yesterday's sunshine while it lasted

Apart from it being bin day today, nothing else is planned or looming

Lunch, some sort of sarnie, filling TBD
Dinner, given the rain I've decided nice roast today, pork chop out to defrost with roast spuds & whatever root veg I can fit tin the tray, plus steamed broccoli

    Good morning everyone,
Hope you had a better sleep last night JKS
Sunny, windy and chilly so far again today. My sis has Hector and Ari off to the beach for a walk and run about. She trying to get Ari to play more. He's playful and enjoys it when he comes here but is much more sedate elsewhere. We are hoping Hector's exuberance might help his confidence.
Tesco due soon and then back to the admin. I should really clean the bathroom but it can wait a day or so if I don't get to it.
Salady bits for lunch and dinner is tbc.

It was pouring here this morning. I had to go out and buy a few random things like blue tack and air freshener and managed to dodge the rain completely. I had a sandwich when I got in as I felt starving!

Managed to go a day with no meetings 🙂 just a couple of Skype calls with the boss and we finished on time

lunch was a salmon salad with a small bread roll.  The rest of the salmon for dinner with wilted spinach, runner beans and new potatoes
