Good morning everyone,

More admin beckons today and we are off to my sister's for dinner this evening.

Another one with damp and grey weather, wfh today and the house felt cold 😬
Couple of meetings but mostly sorting end of year review stuff, it’s that time of year! Seems a long week already…
Used LO potatoes and onions from Sunday’s traybake to create a sort of hash for lunch with a couple of sad mushrooms and some roasted peppers from a jar, topped with a poached egg 😋
Thai red curry tonight with LO chicken roast chicken from the freezer and sugar snap peas, served with noodles.0 -

Another grey day here, with mist as well. I postponed trip into town, just too cold & damp out to bother when I have no real needI'm trying to sort out next online grocery, W8rose or Asda? That is the question, W8rose may just win due to olive oil on offer at the moment & I'm getting low, plus they sell bread yeast in tinsToday I'll make the fruit crumble, never got enough ooomph in me yesterday, but I'm all set todayLunch, defrosting last two of the ex Christmas sausage rolls ready for quick AF reheat & scoff with brown sauceDinner, undecided but fruit crumble for pud is certainEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Good morning everyone,
I was very sad to wake up the news about Paul O'Grady.
Dreary here today, though just about dry just now.
DS2 is in Glasgow looking after Frank so I'm Hector sitting today. I know I'm no visage of loveliness naked but it was rather disconcerting to have Hector take fright when I pulled back the shower curtain this morning.Bathroom door will getting firmly closed from now!
I had a butcher's order delivered yesterday so need to portion and vac pack stuff today. Then if I can be bothered I want to tidy the wall cupboard which holds all the spices etc. It's another one that hasn't been tackled in a while.
Cheese, fruit and crackers for lunch. Tonight I'm trying a variation on JO's salmon in a bag using skinless chicken thighs instead of fish.0 -
Yes, very sad and such a shock about Paul O’Grady.
Been one of those days so am skiving off swimming, have had tea and am on the sofa taking it easy.
Lunch was more leek and pea soup with a cheese topped roll. Salmon with LO creamy leeks and beans from the freezer plus green veg tonight.1 -

Good morning everyone,
Dry this morning but overcast.
Apart from usual morning routine and finalising tomorrow's Tesco order haven't done much. I've a few things on my to do so another cuppa and then I need to crack on.
Subbing the salmon with chicken worked very well yesterday. One to do again. LOs (as usual!) for lunch and tonight it's JO's one pan bacon and bean pasta.0 -
Wind is getting up here and due to get worse later, so I suspect myself & Brambling will be hatches battened down tonight. Shame really because the cherry tree blossom over the road has only just opened, and it's now blowing offFinalised my online list with W8rose, delivery on Saturday, but delivery charge has increased to £4 now
, which although an increase is still worth it to me now my nearby one is closed, and I just wouldn't go to the larger one with all the hassle. I did use my Loyalty coupons so saved a quid there
And have an on offer gammon joint in there, but added note about cost so may never arrive, had to send the last one back when it arrived at over £15. Lesson learnt there
Easter has jumped up on me, where did March go? So I will probably get an Asda delivery as well for my normal Wednesday slot, at least make my mind up once the W8rose one has arrived & see what is missing or otherwiseLunch today, cheese spread & cucumber sarnie nice & easyDinner, gammon steak, fried eggs, HM AF chips & nuked LO beansEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
It feels much warmer today. I just popped to the shop to buy wine and peanuts! I have been binge watching Netflix. Now on Mindhunter. Very gruesome, but good.0
