    Well done to her Farway.:)

I have had a mug of soup with a roll and then two chocolate biscuits with a coffee today.

I was just looking in the fridge to see what needs using up for lunch.

    Good afternoon everyone,
    Congratulations to your GD Farway.
Bright and sunny here today but chilly.
I didn't get my CFO evening yesterday as DS2's gathering was cancelled as the host was poorly. For dinner I cooked us sticky bbq chicken thighs which we had with corn. mushrooms and HM wedges. There's chicken LO for lunch.
A treat tonight - roast sirloin of beef. We'll have it with baby spuds, asparagus, green beans and red chimichurri sauce
  • Well done to your granddaughter, Farway - you must all be very proud. Also, plum chutney sounds perfect with cold pork in a sarnie 😋

Colder here today and wet to start with but dried up late morning. Thrilling domestic morning so the hob, cooker hood and kitchen sink have all had a deep clean. The bathroom had a quick swish round too 😇

Spinach and ricotta tortellini with sweetcorn, sun dried tomatoes and smoked salmon for lunch. Made sausage, red pepper and new potato traybake tonight, served with green veg. There’s LOs to turn into pasta tomorrow night and something for lunch the next day probably…

I’ve made leek and pea soup today, which saw off the rest of the new potatoes and the end of the tub of soured cream. That’s office day lunches sorted for this week. Nearly planned salads but there were bits needing using plus the weather put me off 😬

She's doing really well Farway you're have to tell us which garden it is in Chelsea

Brain blip last night meant I put the alarm clock back not forward  :# annoyingly I had corrected a friend Friday night but got it wrong when I went to bed, first time ever.  I needed to start work before 8.30 to join a call luckily a colleague texted at 8.00 to see if I had picked up a email.  It was 6.00am according to me so I was still in bed :s I didn't tell her that  :D but skipped the shower and breakfast to dress and log on.  I hate being rushed like that.  We worked until lunchtime with some minor hiccups and at times the call was like trying to herd cats with 10 international colleagues and everyone talking at once

lunch was LO pork and noodles from last night. Roast chicken for dinner with roasted Jerusalem  artichoke instead of roast potatoes, runner beans, carrots and corn on the cob

    Cold but sunshine this morning

Somehow I finished up with tum ache yesterday, so dinner was just a cheese spread sarnie, but added a few sliced baby toms "for health" I'm fine this morning so whatever it was has passed now

Highlight of the day is change bedding

I made, or TBH my bread machine made, another French loaf overnight, turned out well and will attack it for lunch, once I decide what to put in a sarnie
I have a tin of "Bacon Grill" which I think will be excellent fried & inside a French loaf sarnie
Dinner, all being well it'll be the cold LO roast pork, with nuked jacket spud & salady bits

    Good morning everyone,
Frosty first thing, still chilly but it's a lovely sunny day.
I've a fair bit of out of school club admin to tackle but apart from that no plans.
LO beef for lunch with salad in a wrap for lunch. DS2 is cooking tonight - dal, rice and naan.

i hope the tum has recovered Farway 🙂

I had a day off in lieu for working at the weekend so met my friend in Chichester for lunch and a catch-up, after a week of rain we got a nice sunny day 😁 we didn't go much further than where we were eating 😋

After lunch out I haven't been very hungry so chicken sandwich for dinner

  • Lovely day for a trip out, Brambling 😀

Still feel a bit thrown by the clock change, hopefully my body clock will have caught up by morning!

Office day today so some of the pea and leek soup plus a cheese topped bread roll for lunch. Made pasta with a yummy sauce from the LO sausage and roast peppers plus half a tin of chopped tomatoes and the end of a bottle of red wine. Liberally sprinkled with Parmesan and served with broccoli 😋

Back to rain after yesterday's brief sunshine, supposed to be in for the week now, gloom, I was hoping to pop into town tomorrow, nothing special, just some compost, milk & a YS mooch but if it's tipping down I'll skip it

Tum back to normal thanks Brambling, no idea what triggered it, but it's gone now

Lunch, with the dull day beans on toast sounds nice and comforting, may pop an egg on top
Dinner, more cold roast pork, with HM AF chips & salad bits.

Maybe oik some stewed apple out of the freezer, for a comforting crumble?

I was thrown off by the clock change. The workman I had over yesterday said the same thing.

I had a PB toasted bagel and coffee for breakfast. I had the coffee black and then remembered my husband bought oat milk home yesterday. Derr.

I'm having a jacket potato with baked beans and vegan cheese for lunch. It is pouring with rain here. I have a load of laundry on and I need to clean the bathroom. What fun! Tesco delivery later.

I'm going to watch The Night Agent tonight. I got 4 months free of Netflix.
