  • Still bright and cold here but it has been a bit milder (no scraping this morning 😀)

Good day in the office - hurrah! Done a bit of voluntary admin this evening but mostly chilled on the sofa, was awake way too early so won’t be late to bed…

More magic soup and cheese topped roll for lunch. Chargrilled tuna steak, Mediterranean lentils, sun dried tomatoes and spinach tonight.

There was a slight drizzle here this morning but it cleared by mid morning and definitely made it warmer than yesterday

you've reminded me i have tuna in the freezer JKS I may have to add it to the menu plan for next week, it has been rejigged several times already, not from late of food 🙄

lunch was toasted muffin with poached egg and the last of the gammon.  Dinner a lazy jacket potato with coleslaw and cheese and salad

Sunshine's back, with a touch of frost to start, but looking promising day ahead.
Hope it holds out because DS + family are off to Cornwall for half-term hols Saturday morning, joining the traffic jammed up at Puddletown no doubt, with kids giggling as they pass the River Piddle :D

Highlight today is Bin Day and getting the garden waste one emptied, so I can start filling it up again

    Food for the day,
Lunch looking like grilled cheese on toast day, with a pair of eggs on top to fatten me up
Dinner, the last W8rose breaded cod fillet, with HM AF chips & frozen peas

Updating my Asda order, but some of the prices are getting daft now, £4 for a packet of Bisto powder. Not due for another week, so plenty of time to jig it around before then

  • I'm going to make garlicky mushrooms and spinach on toast.

It is nice and bright today and I haven't even put the heating on yet as it doesn't feel that cold.

    Good morning everyone,
Murky, damp and chilly here today.
Tesco due soon, no subs or unavailable and then it's back to the voluntary admin. I hit a wall yesterday trying to set up some training and need to make a couple of phone calls.
LO meatballs sliced with salad in a wrap for lunch. Dinner is the usual Friday tbc later.

Do they have to brave the Wimborne bypass as well as the Piddles and the Puddles Farway 😬

It was a nice quiet day workwise so we shutdown at 4.30pm next week will get busy again once IT have given us back our test systems. Lazy eve other than a trip to T Express for milk, I realised there wasn't enough for breakfast tomorrow

lunch was a tuna Mayo sandwich.  Dinner a portion of lasagna from the freezer 😋

  • Made it! Had a quiet one too, so nice on time finish. Very lazy evening to wind down from the week.

Lunch was posh fishfingers in pitta bread, made creamy leek and bean stew with grilled salmon tonight 😋

Need to finish next week’s meal plan in the morning, ran out of inspiration tonight!
  • It felt cold when I woke up! I have put the heating on. I'm going to have a fruit salad (I bought loads of fruit in my last grocery delivery) and yoghurt for breakfast and then I will probably have a veggie burger with salad and chips for lunch.

We are going to the cinema later and taking snacks. Popcorn, crisps, chocolate and sparkling water.:)

And back to grey sky this morning, no frost though
I'm going to have a fruit salad (I bought loads of fruit in my last grocery delivery) and yoghurt for breakfast
I went the opposite, toast & marmalade instead of normal cereal / fruit / yoghurt combo

Undecided on lunch, I have some rolls to use up, so it's cheese or open tin of meaty Spam like stuff in side a couple of those
Dinner, I've defrosted a small pork joint from last year, roast that and maybe roast dinner, I have parsnips & carrots so could go for roasted veg tray

A fish and chip shop near me does a vegan version of spam in batter. I tried it the other day. I haven't had spam since I was about 11 so I couldn't say if it tasted like it  but my husband said it did.
