A busy day at work with 3 meetings it's no wonder our to do lists don't get any smaller 🙄

lunch was falafels and salad in a wrap.  Dinner small cheese and tomato pizza with added veggies and salad

Mild & dull and for some reason feeling a bit lethargic today but nothing planned expect a telephone consultation with the hospital, can't see what good that is but hey ho, ticks a box I guess
This is in place of the real in person consultation due a year ago, but covid closed the department

Lunch, could be a couple of the heated up YS sausage rolls
Dinner, the last YS pasty, maybe on its own with current lack of appetite

    Good morning everyone,
DS2 was away early doors to do a site visit and call in at his office. He'll back mid-evening so I'm in charge of Hector who is currently destroying a log in the kitchen. Messy but it's keeping him entertained and I know what he's up to!
LOs for lunch and ham with pineapple, baked spuds and various veg for dinner.
  • Why have you lost your appetite Farway?

I had wholewheat noodles with cucumber, tomatoes and the last of the kalamata olives for lunch.

I then had a smoothie with bananas and soya milk. I made almost the same smoothie yesterday, but with frozen bananas and the juice of an orange and it tasted much better. I have sliced up and frozen the rest of my bananas in my fruit bowl.

  • Away overnight so picked up a sandwich on my way back today. It’s been a long couple of days so was glad I’d planned easy tuna and broccoli pesto pasta for tonight. There’s LOs for tomorrow’s lunch 🙃

Works been busy this week which has the advantage of it's Friday tomorrow and I've no idea how that happened 🤔

Quick trip into Waitrose tonight as I had to pick up something in John Lewis, I had a small list which I left on the fridge and as I wandered aimlessly around the shop I did get led astray  :s I did manage to avoid the YS meat and fish as my freezer need eating down not adding to 🙂 and TBH there wasn't enough taken off to buy for my sister or nephew. I was led astray by their fruit, blush oranges and nectarines etc 😋 At least my 2 weekly vouchers were something I needed which gave me £1.50 off milk and toilet rolls

lunch was a repeat of yesterday's falafels with salad in a wrap.  Crispy tofu for dinner with stirfry vegetables in a teriyaki sauce and tenderstem broccoli and rice.  Unusually for me I brought a sachet of sauce and it was too salty so I'll go back to not buying them

  • I am going to make the same smoothie today as my husband bought me oranges yesterday. I have leftover bean soup from the other day too.

I ordered from Ocado Wednesday, but I have been sent a £10 voucher if I have a delivery before the 5th which is Sunday. Quite annoying!

Why have you lost your appetite Farway?

Not 100% sure, but I think it's left over lurgy, my nose has been running like a drain as well, plus lethargic, so it's picking at things I fancy instead of making "proper food" I start with good intentions but get the "s0d its" once I get into kitchen

However, new day etc. Sun's out after a slightly damp start

Food today, LO lurgy permitting ;)
Lunch, try a healthy, frozen, nuked baked spud with coleslaw filling
Dinner, Sirloin steak, HM AF chips, sautéed mushrooms, fried eggs & some beans and a fresh tomato to show willing

    Good morning everyone,
Hope your appetite has returned Farway. Your food plan sounds very tempting.
A huge rat ran through the garden earlier,  ! hope it was just passing through!!
Tesco due soon, no subs or unavailable items. Will have a bit of a tidy when the shopping has been put away and later I aim to cull my shoe collection. I have no idea why I have so many lots of which I can't wear anymore.
I've ordered a tin of tomato soup as I've a notion for some. Literally years since I've had it, I hope it meets expectations.
Usual Friday freezer rake for dinner.
  • Phew, back to work with a bump! No quiet catch up day for me 🙄

It was at home at least, not that I got chance to do anything other than work. LO pasta for lunch was eaten cold at about 2.30 during a meeting…

Easy treat tea of scampi, chips and peas. There was wine taken 😉
