Dull & mild start, but sun may arrive later, allegedlyHad company for last night's dinner, a cheeky fox sat on my wall & was peering in at me through the conservatory window
, as bold as brass. Could be worse, could've been Ratty & mates returned
Food today, if the fox approvesLunch, maybe eggs on toast, and like JKS, I'll give the cheese a day offDinner, sirloin steak, HM AF chips & saladHoping to go into the recently opened Food Warehouse, it's next to Home Bargains where I am going for garden bits, so time permitting I'll go in to look at the steaks, according to reviews very hit & miss, so I'll have to look before buying in store, can't trust onlineMay even be YS items, but never having been in there I don't know yet

Good morning everyone,
How wonderful for your GD Farway
Physio was brutal yesterday and I'm "broken" today, but for the first time in over month I can put my right foot flat on the floor without searing pains shooting down my legs so progress I think. I've to resume my stretching exercises tomorrow when hopefully I'll feel less bruised and battered.
Need to chase up my repeat prescription - if it has gone to the wrong chemist again I will be raising it with the surgery!
LO curry for lunch and bangers and mash for dinner. The mash is from the freezer LO from New Year so an easy one.0 -
I've been feeling ill the past few days, I lost my voice yesterday and I had a fever and was shivering this afternoon. I took ibuprofen and crashed out for two hours and felt much better when I woke up. My husband got a call from the guy painting our house that he has tested positive for Covid so I assume I caught it from him at the weekend.
The trip to the cinema was off for today for obvious reasons. I hadn't really eaten much so I had some oven chips in a pitta bread and am now back in bed with a book, a hot water bottle and a hot toddy.

I feel okay today and am up and dressed. I still have a cough, but it was quite mild again for me.
I'm just having a hot chocolate before my green smoothie.
I am going to make a big batch of soup today with all the veggies, garlic and onion left in my fridge. I'm going to add a tin of white beans and olive oil too.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
Glad you are feeling better today Wednesday.
Calmer this morning after another wet and wild afternoon/evening. It must have blown itself out overnight.
Feeling less battered today though I'm very bruised, it's seems strange that I'm paying someone to leave me feeling as though I've been beaten up but I have every faith in the physio and it does seem to be helping. As he said if I want pampered book a spa day, if I want fixed it's going to hurt! Hoping to get a bit more done today but I'm under strict instructions that the minute there's any sharp pain to stop - I think that's where I've been going wrong and ignoring signals is what caused the issue in the first place so will try and heed what seems like good advice.
Made a sausage casserole yesterday with loads of veg and baked beans. It was blooming lovely and there's LOs for lunch.Chicken, rice and pea traybake for dinner.

I had a course of reflexology a few years ago at a Chinese centre and I was shocked at how much it hurt sometimes!2025 GOALS

I've another session in a fortnight and then we are hoping to move it to 3 weekly for a few sessions. Going forward I'm probably looking at a monthly session to try and stop it getting so bad again. It's well worth the money IMHO and I spend hardly anything on any other sort "me" stuff.2

Day started well, sunny & mild but looking like it's going to the dogs now & clouding overManaged to get to Home Bargains this morning, at last garden compost is in a so couple of bags of that, and YS sausages + some odds & endsThen into Food Warehouse [AKA Iceland], huge, but I was the only customer, can't see it lasting long if that's typicalYS Sausage rolls & a couple of YS pasties, just over two quid spent, I doubt that even paid for the lightingLunch decided on AF YS banger sarnie, but the bangers are not very nice, not my usual, very hard skins and too peppery with "odd" not bad smell. Had a taste then opted for cheese & onion sarnie insteadBangers in the bin, but froze the uncooked onesDinner, was intending YS pasty, HM AF chips & cheapo beans, but feeling full so maybe just a pasty?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
