Forum seems back to normal now, staying logged in & thanks button back. probably the usual software improvements, it works so we'll break it :D
There's another site I use that's been down for over 4 days now, must be losing a fortune in ad revenue

Still windy but warm, keep hoping for rain but looking at the weather map Caron has my share
I think I'm just going to have to water my rhubarb which is way down the bottom of the garden and now looking a bit forlorn

Lunch, it's use up time, last of the LO HM coleslaw with some grated posh cheese stirred in. I've had that somewhere out before so maybe it's got a cheffy name?
Bit fed up with constant salad so today is substitute pie day
The Pukka chicken & mush with I think nuked CBA frozen mash.
Because it's CBA dinner I may nuke some frozen peas to show lip service with the veg code

    Good morning everyone,
The site seems to have fixed itself overnight :)
Stormy and wet here this morning, it's supposed to be like this all day so apart from a bin trip I won't be straying. I have some admin to catch up on so that will keep me occupied. My CFO evening was short-lived, I was just serving up my meal when my son reappeared having finished up the Zoom chat with his mates. We watched the final episode of a Netflix series we'd been watching before switching to second series of the Derry Girls on All 4 which had us both in stitches. :D
I've a bakery order getting delivered which includes some baton rolls, I've some "posh" jumbo bangers in the freezer so dinner tonight is going to be sausage sarnies with lots of mustard and onions. :)

The site is still logging me out today, I'm obviously not one of the chosen ones  :'(

Farway I'm hoping you have either had this storm or it's on its way to you  :D it started as a brief shower before lunch which did nothing and any benefit was quickly gone due to the wind, half hour later the sky got really black and we have had thunder, lightning and heavy rain for the last 45 minutes, the sky is brightening now.  Hopefully it not so heavy that it is just runs off, I'm grateful now I couldn't plant my beans and courgettes as they would have had a heck of a battering

i drove into town first thing (free parking 🙂) to visit the small farmers market and got some lovely local bits asparagus, rhubarb, apples, eggs, watercress, Brighton blue cheese and as a treat locally made wild garlic pesto made with a local 'Parmesan' type cheese (I went back to the stall for that 😁) and Cornish new potatoes which look lovely.  I did buy jersey royals yesterday in M&S which were washed and I don't think necessarily taste the same as when brought dirty 🤔

i dropped my bag walking indoors so I've an egg waiting to be used 🙄 luckily just one cracked.  I was going to have something egg like for lunch but haven't eaten yet other than a banana and some grapes

Dinner will be a small turkey breast one of those you cook in its tray which I picked up YS last Saturday in M&S £1.90 instead of £6 (i did freeze it 🙂) I'll make a mini roast with it.  Whilst the oven is on I will bake a small gammon that will sort me food wise for a few days.

It's been raining on and off here too, sunny again at the moment.

I had two slices of pizza for breakfast and then had two small jacket potatoes with chickpea salad for lunch.

We had the thunder, and a bit of rain, but sadly not enough to make much of an impact on the very empty water butts. I suspect I'm pretty much due north of Farway). Thanks to the wind and the drop in temperature I've finally eaten the last of last week's very garlicky soup made with all the left over green bits of veg which happened to include quite a bit of wild garlic... I've also turned a tired-looking aubergine into baba ganoush. Tonight I need to do something with pak choi of which I have quite a lot. It might involve garlic and chilli.

One of the nice things about lockdown is not having to worry about the impact of garlic consumption on other people!

Back to sunshine with a breeze today, may yet get out there & plant the dahlias at the front later
Bit stuck for food ideas today, loads of food about but trying to get some enthusiasm to do something with it
Usual porridge / banana/ yoghurt / honey combo for breakfast
I think lunch will be a crisp sarnie.
Since lock down I've craved crisps, never normally buy them but forbidden fruit syndrome I assume, now with ND & C & C shopping I have two multi packs to chose from
Dinner, just don't know, way things are it could be another crisp sarnie for Sunday dinner. very CFO
