Re AF ... I hang out in Facebook on loads of groups and grab ideas/times/temps as I spot them.
I use a free thing called Evernote.  It holds a full copy on your PC + automatically syncs to all/any devices you have and online.  I don't use devices, but I could.  You could, say, be in the dentist, spot a recipe in a magazine, snap it on your phone and it automaticallly uploads to your Evernote and is there when you get home and load it up on your PC.

With Evernote the free account has X data/month... hit that and you're shut out until the next update.  I've worked out that if I grab photos and resize them to 300px wide that's big enough for me to see the recipes showing, but never hits the data limit (I have <4,500 recipes in it now).

You create tags for recipes, on the fly if you wish... and can search down through recipes for ingredients, several ingredients, one or more tags.  e.g. I can search by selecting, say, SlowCooker, Desserts from my tags and sultana -apple (recipes with sultanas but not apples).

You can just one click save recipes when you find them online... but I've developed my preferred manual method (which includes cutting the image down).

I've even got a tag called GoBack - which is a reminder to me to return to a TV programme or a thread somewhere to see if images were added, or more details....

I also create new tags, I've got one running called NewHouse :)  And I've got Xmas_Any, as well as Xmas2011, Xmas2012, Xmas2013, Xmas2014 - and I've never, ever, made those recipes in any of those xmases, but they're all just ideas of what I could have, not what I will have :)

Candygirl - I like Pinterest too for recipes. I've been so lazy lately. :'( No motivation at the moment with everything going on.

Nelski - Yes, I think I will gain all the weight I lost as soon as Gregg's opens. I love the vegan steak bake. :D

Those two would never get onto my list :)
I buy cheap spuds, so the skins really need binning + I am not a leek fan nor a soup fan.

    Hi Floss 👋

Wednesday I'm hoping to break even weigh wise by the time I go back into the office, I think I had better try on my work trousers having lived in lounging pants for weeks 😁

i didn't spend as much time as I planned in the garden, I was chatting to a neighbour for over a hour lunchtime, they're shielding as she has had a kidney transplant it was 1.30pm before we realised.  My sister surprised me with a visit after lunch and we sat socially distanced with a cup of tea and caught up, she 'acquired' two of my tomato plants, some patty pan plants and some of my old containers.  I had to refuse her the tomatoes she was trying to steal and gave her two small plants my neighbour gave me which self seeded in his greenhouse from fallen tomatoes

i had the urge to bake today (not the best weather to do so) and made a bara brith and a Parkin I'm hoping as the bara needs two days to mature and the Parkin a week I'll go off the urge to eat them and can give some to my neighbour as a thank you for mowing my lawn and some to my nephews as a thank you for the HM baked donuts he sent round with my sister.  Of course I may have to taste my cakes to ensure they ok to give away 😁

lunch was late so I quickly put together a gammon and cheese flat bread.  Dinner was also some of the LO gammon this time with French beans and cauliflower cheese.  I was multitasking and forgot to half the cheese sauce recipe so I have half left, I may put in the freezer for next time

I didn't bother with the arancini as I was pottering in the garden most of the afternoon so had tomato sandwiches made with Lidl's low g.i. bread  instead...I did freeze the leftover risotto though.
Office today, so smoothie for breakfast, and cottage cheese & ryvita for lunch. I will take just enough cottage cheese for today as I'm back at home the rest of the week so can't leave the tub in the office fridge as normal.
Will be salad when I get home - blue cheese & pear on rocket with walnuts & balsamic glaze.

Gammon was lovely last night so lovely there wasn't the usual leftovers for brunch today. Loving the jersey royals so need to get some more of them. Lunch today will be some tinned mackerel butties

For tonight I have done a chuck in meal.....I can't stand tinned tomatoes so the normal meatball sauce doesn't work for me.  Ill let you know how it goes lol So I have my frozen meat balls from last weeks Ikea recipe. In that I have lobbed some cabbage leeks and onions that were going a bit sad in the fridge and a kind of BBQ sauce which I made with ketchup brown sugar hoi sin soy and white wine vinegar. In the slow cooker for the day now will have with mash or stuffed in a big roll :) It will either be gorgeous or a disaster...watch this space :)

I'd not be putting anything into a shared fridge; you don't know who else has opened it, touched things, moved things about ...
