Need to find banana loaf recipes, I've got an easy one somewhere but it's gone AWOL :(

My recipes aren't to be followed, but to remind myself of things I could eat - I just have to type in the ingredients and exclude any results that have ingredients I've not got.... then look at the photos.  Lick my lips ... and open a pack of crisps instead. :)
You do make me laugh PN , n glad You got out unscathed ;)

My nephew makes a Mary Berry recipe Farway which is always very nice, but then i don't think he ever makes a bad cake.  You can skip the chocolate chips

So far ... I've polished off six slices of bread from that loaf.... and the entire (200g) pot of sandwich filler.

EDIT: By 7pm I'd also polished off the 4-pack of samosas.  They're the Aldi ones, probably about 90p a pack... for the price they're some of the best I've had.

    Good afternoon everyone,
    Glad you are okay CG
Farway, I got an 89p cauli from tesco last week and it was a decent size. Half of it was more than enough for cauli cheese for 4 or  as a veg side or 2 as a main portion.
Dull and grey here today but dry so far. I'm still feeling a tad wonky so apart from washing my hair and changing my bed haven't got that much done today. I might sow some more seeds this afternoon. My son is cooking tonight and was busy brining pork steaks on his lunch break to cook this evening. We'll probably have roast veg and HM wedges with them. Lunch was some chicken and veg soup from the freezer with a ham, cheese and lettuce sandwich.

Thanks all, I used a MB one, but chosen on similar principles to PN, using most basic & simple ingredients & method, chuck the lot in processor, whiz, tip into loaf tin then bung in oven. https://thehappyfoodie.co.uk/recipes/banana-loaf Still in oven but smelling nice
Dinner, some undecided as yet RM MFO pinged then some banana loaf &butter

My banana cake was a fail, stodgy in the middle. It's my first fail at that and it was only made 'cos I had a over ripe banana, false economy :(
However I made do by eating the last of my crumble & custard so not starving overnight

This morning, sunny now after dull start, porridge breakfast, my first time using the T*sco oats, so much different from my normal L's one, just don't seem to soak up liquid overnight in the same manner. I prefer the L's ones but for the foreseeable future I'll be eating whatever T*sco supply via neighbour's daughter. Spotted her trotting off to work this morning, hopefully a fresh cabbage & some broccoli will be in my basket when she returns

Lunch, thinking of summat & salad sarnie
Dinner, found some posh YS banger in freezer, April 2019, hacked a couple off the ice-block to defrost, I think I'll do some HM AF chips, fried eggs & open a tin of beans. Nice easy comfort food

I had a LM sausage with baked beans and tomatoes for breakfast.

I had tomato and lentil soup for lunch with a cup of tea.

    Good afternoon everyone,
I think we're all aloud a grumble at the moment Brambling!
Commiserations re the fail Farway, is so frustrating when you add other ingredients to something to avoid wasting something and it doesn't work :s
Wonky donkey is quieter today though it didn't approve of me cleaning the bathroom which is all the excuse I need to not tackle anymore housework today ;). I'm on cooking duty tonight but I can prep sitting at the counter top and then it pretty much looks after itself. I'm making a spicy tomato, courgette and halloumi bake with roasted cauli and pitta. Lunch was soup from the freezer stash and buttered oatcakes.

Lunch turned into cheese & salady sarnie
My fresh veg arrived via neighbour's daughter, pointy cabbage & broccoli, all being well tomorrow is some type of roast,
I've got a FR lamb lump in the freezer so I'll defrost that overnight.
