    Good afternoon everyone,
Hope you are feeling okay today CG?
Oh PN what a horrible situation to be living in, I couldn't cope with it at all.
Dry and sunnyish here today but still pretty chilly. I pottered about in the garden late morning and have my mini pots ready to plant tom seeds in once I've had my nap. Wonky donkey is having a tap in the background, just gently and I'm hoping it will settle down if I watch what I'm doing for a few days. I'd rather he didn't decide to have an outing...
Cauli soup and half a cheese and ham toasted wrap for lunch. Broccoli and spinach and pesto pasta for dinner this evening. I wonder what we'll watch now we have finished watching The Tiger King real carcrash TV but compulsive viewing....

The sun warmed up well, peas now planted out, let's hope by the time I get picking we are able to go out a bit more
Spuds chipped, only needs salad bits washing & cutting then dinner is done
Neighbour has given me a large going over ripe banana, I feel banana bread coming on with my newly acquired SR flour :)

Don't quote, will delete ..... just whinging again.

So, she came home (10am) put washing on and hung it out (11.30).  2.40 went out .. hurrah.  3pm back in ... boo.

Then another twist to "how to be a far quit"... at 3pm the washing was removed and the car went... I thought she'd left again ... but no.  She'd taken the car from the MASSIVE drive... massive .... huge.... and put it out on the road so there'd be no way for me to slide into my car and pop out without having to ask ...

Why'd you do that?  Your car is parked in your large driveway ... and my car in there too .... so why'd you go out of your way to move your car out just to block the whole driveway?

    Bizarre

EDIT1: 5pm, odd noises going on ... trying to guesstimate what noises are when somebody's probably trying to sneak things about ... I'd bet I heard a small wheeled suitcase ... LL has gone out.  I'd not be surprised if that's it for 1-2 days now.

Can You not just cut Your losses n rent somewhere else ?  :(
Not much choice around.... prices are high.  It could cost me £4-5k if I bail out now and have to rent something much pricier....  it's difficult to measure cost.  Amount I've paid to be here that I'd lose if I left is £1800.  So it'd be an £1800 loss if I rented something the same price. But, anything else would most likely cost more + bills.  So it soon starts adding up.  And the budget's already "not quite enough" to find somewhere to buy, so every £1k counts.

Just back from popping out. First outing in six days.  I "stocked up"... starting to get 4rse sores round the coccyx area from sitting/lying in bed too long/often, so I had to grab some cream (any cream, just cream you've no idea what you want/need and just need to get in/out).....

Back home now with: A loaf of bread, pot of tuna/sweetcorn sandwich filler, pack of flatbreads, pot of salmon paste, 2 jars of coffee, 3 chocolate bars, pack of samosas, 2 bleach, 2 packs of loo roll, 2 5-packs of doritos, bag of favourite choccies.

    Sitting here eating a tuna/sweetcorn sandwich :)

Landlady didn't reappear last night at all; I went out, no car.... came back and she's present.   I wonder if she'll be having a sleepover every night.

Bizarre LL happenings PN, reads like a spy mystery
More sunshine today, I enjoyed last night's salad but not repeating it today
Now I know my shopping is fetched from T*sco I've been getting my next "order" together, I've been fancying cauli cheese but having looked at the current prices for fresh [nearly 2 squid] I've kicked that into touch. Life's easy when mooching around and spotting a nice cheap bit of veg :/

    Porridge breakfast of course
Lunch, last of the pot of HM chutney in a cheese sarnie
Dinner, no idea, I CBA to do much so could be ping food from freezer

Need to find banana loaf recipes, I've got an easy one somewhere but it's gone AWOL :(

I'm glad you are feeling better! CG.

I had toast with PB and jam for breakfast. I didn't feel like a smoothie again. I'm sure the jam and the maple syrup are both past their dates but I will try and use them up.

I have HM tomato soup and bread for lunch.

My husband went to Waitrose yesterday and got a few things including some veggie burgers. We will have them tonight in buns with oven chips. I think I only have tomatoes left so I will make a salad of sorts with some apple cider vinegar and dried basil.

I have dozens... they're pretty much all the same.  Unless you've found one you think is outstanding "any one" will do.
I just checked my list. I have 58 recipes for it.... oven, slow cooker, even air fryer and piemaker versions :)

Items make it into my recipe list in the main based on being simple/using few ingredients and equipment.  It's my collection of food I fancy, food I eat, using ingredients/equipment I've probably got.  Few are just to look at the photos.

My recipes aren't to be followed, but to remind myself of things I could eat - I just have to type in the ingredients and exclude any results that have ingredients I've not got.... then look at the photos.  Lick my lips ... and open a pack of crisps instead. :)
