Good afternoon everyone,
Glad you got your shopping sort out Farway.
Bright but very cold here today though it is getting a bit cloudy now. Earlier my son and I wrapped well and enjoyed a cuppa in the garden. We weren't out long but it was lovely to be able to do it. He's headed for his daily walk and I'm putting my feet up for an hour. I'm on cooking duty tonight so will need to get on with that soon. I've defrosted a chicken crown so will roast that with some baby spuds and carrots. I've a biggish cauli in the fridge so will make a dish of cauli cheese as well. With some nuked green beans and HM gravy that should do us nicely. There's a small sponge pud in the cupboard should we fancy a treat afterwards.5 -
I've not been here as I've had nothing new to say.
A couple of weeks ago I bought lots of noodle pots... and a box of 32 packs of crisps. They've been mainly what I've been eating. I've had a lot of chocolate to chomp through too.
I did pop out for "essentials" about 3 days ago, as we're supposed to do. I bought a jar of coffee, 2 tins of satsumas, 2 bars of chocolate and 2 packs of flatbreads ... and a quiche, which I ate that day in 2-3 hours in three portions.
Today, from memory ... I've had: A flatbread, a noodle pot, a flatbread, 1/3rd of a bar of chocolate, a whole pack of jelly (from the packet/not made up) and a pack of crisps.
I've half a mind to go get more noodle pots.... they seem to still have a stock of them in the warehouse, last couple of layers .. once they're gone they're gone. A quick stocktake earlier today showed I had 27 noodle pots and about 6 rice pots left, which, when you look at it like that is a month's food
I like the shanghai curry best. The sweet chilli one's not so good. Fiery chicken and penang are passable. The warehouse stock appears to be the shanghai curry.

PN - I did notice you weren't here but I didn't want to pry.x4 -
I had a smoothie this morning. Same as yesterday PB, banana, soya milk and cocoa powder.
I was looking through my cupboards so I'm making a soup later with stuff I have left. Passata, cherry toms, frozen spinach, veg bouillon, chilli powder, garlic sea salt and whatever else I can chuck in there.
I have only a tiny bit of rice left, but lots of cous cous so I might make something with that later. I'm going to have a look for a recipe online.2025 GOALS

Still sunny so that's one good thing, at least it'll be warm for lunch in my conservatoryPorridge breakfastI've taken some stewed apples out to defrost, memory of last summer's glut there.Must say when I stewed them I did not have anything like the present situation in mind. I've also got very small portion of frozen mixed berries which I'll bung in & make a crumble with OOD BBE 2015 pack of crumble mix. No point in using my fresh SR flour right nowWhile rummaging I also found a pack of OOD shortcrust pastry mix, just add water type. Looking like a pie of some sort later this weekLunch, think it's some type of salad sarnie now I've restockedThe chilli I made a few days back has one portion left, so that's dinner sorted as well, with a bit of my new crumble to followEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens4

Today I've had an apple (opened a pack of 6 I bought a week ago). Then a flatbread (last in the pack). Currently waiting for a noodle pot to moisten for its 4-5 minutes you have to wait
EDIT: A bit later I had a packet of crisps.

Good afternoon everyone,
Lovely to see you posting again PN.
Son has been holed up in the 'office' aka my dining room since 8am apart from a quick break to grab some lunch and have his daily walk. It has almost felt as though I was home alone 😊. Turned the leftover veg and cauli cheese from yesterday into a pot of soup for lunches for a couple of days and caught up on various chores this morning. After my usual feet up I plan to pot on basil and mint bought as living herbs from the SM. I find they usually do quite well so fingers crossed. This week I want to plant my tom etc. seeds so need to get the trays looked out and washed as well. Son is on cooking duty tonight we are having a stir fry of some description I think using the spare chicken from yesterday.5 -
The lunchtime planned salady sarnie become fried egg one due to CBA with salad sortingCrumble made, smells good. I found the last tin of custard, BBE1/2019, which counts as fresh in this houseIt's amazing what I'm uncovering as the pantry slowly depletes, if it gets too low it'll be Fray B pie timeEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens4
