    Good morning everyone,
Sis has headed to work and nephew is getting ready for college so I'm keeping out of the way and enjoying a quiet cuppa. :) It's dry just now but to get wet and windy again as the day goes on.
There's enough chicken left to make ramen for us tonight so I'll get the stock underway this morning. Before that while it's still dry  I want to nip to the library and visit the ironmongers for light bulbs as I seem to have had a spate of them dying and have used up my spares.

Ditto here, wet night is on the way
For unknown reason woke about 2 and spent the rest of the night, or so it seemed, unable to get back to sleep, should sleep well tonight though
Porridge breakfast, made fresh batch of yoghurt, dahlia seedlings out & acclimatising in the conservatory, and best bit, phoned about car insurance renewal and saved £45, one good thing about t'internet.
Next MS effort is my leccy, contract ends this week but I'm not too fixated on cheapest for that, ethics & service also go in the pot for that, within reason of course

Lunch, another pack of OOD PB baguettes, with last of the YS ham + tomato filling
One ex L's YS boil in bag kipper fillets out defrosting, way past storage dates, I bunged it in freezer 11/17   :o
I'll have that for dinner plus make large pot of mash for LOs, both to go with some frozen peas as the forecast rain tips down

I made stuffing yesterday so I had a leftover stuffing sandwich for breakfast.

I'm making some potato wedges now that I will have with salad and salsa.

I got some strawberries and blueberries out if the freezer to defrost to make a smoothie later.

I popped out to the out of date warehouse.  Came away with 6 Tilda pouch rices (£1), 12 noodle pots of a different flavour (£2), 5 noodle pots of another flavour (£1) and 8 veg curry pot rices (£1).  So that's £7 spent and 31 meals,

Tried to get to L1dl, but the entire road was closed (for 2 weeks), so ended up in 4ldi. Bought some flatbreads and a 2-pack of scotch eggs.  Ate the 2 scotch eggs in the car park as they need refrigerating and it's hard to carry/store one on its own after the pack's opened.

Sitting here now eating a pack of crisps, just one pack left of those now.

I'm going to make veg noodles later with one of those cheap noodle packets. :) I have mange tout, red onion, broccoli and carrots to go with them.

Am I the only person who always thinks Mango Trout when I say mange tout? Was that from Only fools and horses?!

I'm getting hankerings now for "proper meals"..... I'd love to be able to go through to my kitchen and to make some mashed potato, maybe cheese/potato pie and beans .... or a shepherds pie .... or a giant yorkie/mash/veggies/gravy .... or a big cooked breakfast.... just the freedom to walk into a kitchen, where it's clean/hygienic and there's prep space that's clean/hygienic and to be able to prep and cook ... then eat and wash up the dishes.  To be able to cleanly/hygienically save leftovers in the fridge....

Today I've had: 2 scotch eggs, a packet of crisps, a noodle pot.  I might have a flatbread in a bit.

I couldn't cope with those kitchen issues PN, or the limited diet :(
Not feeling great today, but prepped a lentil n tomato soup last night, so will blitz it, n have it with crunchy bread later.
I soaked some green lentils n forgot about them,  n they've sprouted, so might make a salad later :)
