PN I hoped you got out for food, you don't seem to be eating much 😕
I didn't.  I'm saving it for tomorrow I think... when I expect to get chippy chips at lunchtime, maybe.

Today I've had loads to eat.  A flatbread, a noodle pot, a cup a soup and a packet of crisps :)
    I won't starve.... not anorexic.

Crisps for breakfast. Going out in a bit for some essentials on a round robin trip involving 4ldi, £land and ... who knows where else.  Need to find a L1dl if I spot one easily, honey/nut cornflakes.  I'll keep a beady eye out for what to eat as I'm out and about, with a backup plan of chippy chips if I don't find anything exciting.

I had a PB sandwich for breakfast. I had an early night so I woke up hungry.

I have put a couple of potatoes in to bake. I will have them with lots of salad and maybe baked beans if I'm still that hungry.

And the sun's out after yesterday's deluge, dry us all out
B all YS in L's, at least I bought some apples on offer, the rest was garden stuff, oh and some choc biscuits ;)
lunch was a couple of slices of the FR YS ham in a sarnie with mustard. It's nice tasty ham, that's one YS thing I'll miss once W8rose closes
Dinner, decided on LO beef stew with LO dumpling
    Crisps for breakfast.

I've never tried them, may just pick a box up next week when I'm in there

    Good afternoon everyone,
It was frosty first thing, the it tipped it down for a couple of hours and now the sun is shining.
Yesterday's loo repair seems to have worked 😁 so have held off calling a plumber and will see how it goes over the weekend.
Groceries have been delivered including loo roll replenishments 😉.
My sister's cat and the neighbour's puss have been having a stand off through the back door for most of the morning. Lots of yowling and posturing from both sides with nether wanting to back down. I'm leaving them to it lol!
BLT for lunch and I've HM burgers defrosting for dinner tonight.

While 4ldi and L1dl look the same, selling the same stuff, there's always a favourite.  For honey/nut cornflakes, for me, it's definitely L1dl.  I just eat them as they are.... dry.  I've been reusing a pot noodle pot as a bowl... ideal hand dipping size :)

I did my round robin, gathered 2 jars of coffee, flatbreads, sweeties, 2 vacuum packs of naan breads.  I didn't find a L1dl; I was in an 4ldi twice, but the 2nd one was an unexpected find next to £land, so I wandered in and realised I'd already shopped at 4ldi this morning so there was nothing I could buy in there today.

For lunch I had chippy chips. OMG I got a lot for £2, struggled to get through them all.   £2 for chips.  They had a lunchtime deal of a sausage and chips which she offered, but I said "there are fewer chips with that aren't there" and she said yes... I've never been a fan of chippy sausages, so I just had a regular portion of chips.

    🤸🏼‍♀️🍸 it's Friday - It's been a long week 😁

i think i was lucky driving home last night as my colleagues' 26 mile journey took three and a half hours and he ended up driving over 80 miles due to flooding, give me cold and dry weather over the rain any day

I popped to Sainsbobs lunchtime as it's the nearest pharmacy and had a quick look around, no toilet rolls, tissues or kitchen roll (it seems the rumour is TRs are made in China so there will be a shortage 😳) no porridge or wheatabix, and big gaps in the pasta, rice, UHT milk and tinned veg  shelves as well as painkillers etc and stressed staff complaining how rude people were.  Luckily I didn't need anything other than the pharmacy where two of us agreed that all we need was gin and chocolate 😁.  My colleague told me W8itrose was the same with hardly any frozen veg as well.  Although it's not just the UK panic buying as my French colleague sent me a photo of empty shelves in her Paris supermarket last night 🙄.

Lunch was turkey broth, the last three portions were squashed into the freezer   frozen.  Dinner was breakfast 🙂 sausages and bacon brought from the farm shop 🤤 with fried eggs and toast 🙂. And now there is a G&T with my name on it 🍸

'morning all, back to dull today, but it's dry so I may get out & do more buddlia pruning this afternoon. My Peas sown in pots are up but too small to brave the slugs & pigeons outside
Porridge for breakfast, I need to get some more in next week, I hope with all this panic buying there is some around, if not I'll follow the excellent breakfast examples on here & maybe have either crisps or PB sarnie, I suppose a crisp sarnie with a cup of "Builders" for breakfast would be true CFO :D

Lunch, not sure but YS ham will be in there, I've some PB baguettes lurking which must be near or past BBE date, so likely to be PB baguette with YS ham & sliced tom inside
Dinner, has to be the last LO beef stew & dumpling, nuked back to life. Last night's one was fine, I had cheese & apple after so may well rinse & repeat tonight

    Good afternoon everyone,
Back to wet and windy here today. My sis and nephew are down at their flat trying to do some clearing up. They are hoping to move back in towards the end of the week. Me & puss have had a domestic morning, well I have - he's either been sleeping or getting in the way! I don't know that he's hugely impressed that I cleaned out his litter tray 🤢, can't say I was that enamoured either ;) .
BLT again for lunch with some chipotle mayo LO from last night. For dinner my sis is treating us all to fish & chips so I'm off catering duty tonight.
