I suppose the £125 will come in useful as a contribution towards the £200 cost to replace a 4 month old tyre, that I now need :rotfl:

So, I know I've matched all the criteria, so just a waiting game, but where's everybody going next? It's MSE, assume the vast majority will be switching again...

Some time ago, I opened a M&S current account for their regular saver, but they changed their T&Cs, so was no longer eligible. Sat dormant for a while, then switched the M&S account to Yorkshire Bank 'B' and onto NatWest.

Really don't care for the NatWest website and can't see too much to hold me as a customer, so considering switching back to M&S for their regular saver and £185 M&S gift card, which will come in handy. Exhausted most of the other switching offers on the table I believe.

Shall we take bets on when they will start paying the switch reward into accounts?

Agreed. After getting the £250 from CYB I switched into my existing NatWest Reward account, so can't switch this out. But I do have a donor Halifax...

I'm hoping to wake up on Friday 13th to find the switch incentive in my account. Hoping that it won't be an unlucky day

I'm guessing Friday will be validation, and maybe money into accounts after the weekend.

    My Guess - 10:32AM Tuesday 17th April :A

Since the offer Ts & Cs state that payment will be by 13 April then they should expect something of a customer reaction if they fail to abide by their own published terms!

Ah, you are making the mistake of assuming banks make no mistakes in their T&C.

Read them again, and consider how they apply to someone who closes their account at 11:59 and 59 seconds in the evening of 12th April.
If you meet the eligibility criteria for this offer, we’ll pay £125 into your eligible account by 13 April 2018, but please note:
If you close your eligible account before (13 April 2018) this date, then the £125 won’t be paid.
The two statement are mutually exclusive, who knows which one will apply. :rotfl:

I stand by my guess of - 10:32AM Tuesday 17th April , but will be happy to be proven wrong before then ...

They're only mutually exclusive if you read 'by 13 April' and 'before 13 April' as being synonymous, which is not necessarily the case. My prediction is that they'll pay out on the 13th to all accounts still open on that day....
