Think I might be going mad...
I applied for a NatWest account a while ago through their website in order to do the switch. All fine except all the correspondence I received was from RBS and I now have an RBS card and have to login through the the RBS app.
I thought this might just be because im in Scotland but my girlfriend did the exact same thing and ended up with a NatWest account.
I spoke to very confused sounding NatWest advisor a while ago who unconvincingly told me I would still get the bonus but I’m not so sure. Has this happened to anyone else?0 -

It was along the lines of needed to confirm where I was a tax resident..
Which I found a bit strange considering I have only ever lived in the UK and have a pretty average/normal job!
The letter sent me to this link which explained it - anyway I wondered whether this was the start of them trying to worm out of paying the cash! As I have switched to Santander, Halifax, HSBC and now Natwest with no previous problems.
