Corned beef hash with carrots (I had never made it before so MIL showed me, not sure why, but FIL calls it poor man's food) DD loves it.
Had some chocolate brioche rolls left, so used them, with some eating apples to make a bread & butter pudding concoction in the SC. Was rather yummy if I don't say myself.

I made scotch eggs tonight (freeing a tiny bit of freezer space by defrosting a few sausages). Had them with a big mixed salad - it was really tasty and filling.

That remind me of Guide Camp.
It's known as poor mans food basically because its cheap and filling, the kind of meal a manual laboring family / man would need and could afford.

Tonight was more spag bog but with a portion of edemmame bean linguine that I picked up in Aldi last year. One of those things in the cupboard I kept seeing but not actually seeing IYKWIM.  Anyway,  very nice.

Have some stock out the freezer to make risotto and still wondering how on earth I'm going to get our xmas dinner in there in a couple of weeks.

    Hubby at work tonight :(

I’ve taken out a pot of soup for daughter and I. It’s lentil, veg and potato. I think we had the same one last week too. I’ve still got one tub left which we will have next weekend.

Greek Tomato and Feta Beans in the instapot (Fast 800) tonight - Trying to get back into being a regular on MSE and being better at meal planning, eating healthier, losing weight, and saving money!

Does anyone else use a meal planning app?
