@Brie thank you, I should have really searched shouldn't I 🤦♀️ bread pudding in the UK is totally different to bread and butter pudding, funny how the names of things differ isn't it.
OH is Scottish and when he first came down to England he ordered a ham roll, he got given a cold ham roll when he had been expecting a hot bacon roll. Now that's disappointment!
Dinner tonight was spag bog from the enormous vat I made the other night. Very nice it was too.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

When I first arrived in the UK I remember asking for a ham salad sandwich and was surprised by the whole slices of ham with lettuce, tomato and cucumber. To me ham salad is chopped ham mixed with chopped pickle (aka cucumber relish) and mayo. And it took me a while to realise that in the UK an egg salad sandwich was labelled as egg mayo.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hello all
spaghetti bolognese this evening. I’ve defrosted a portion and will reheat and add cheese and pasta. I fancy an easy dinner this evening.

Tonight I am using up the last of the roast pork joint from Sunday. I have turned it into a bowl of bbq pulled pork and am using it to pimp up a plain pizza, along with some sliced onions, peppers and chillis plus extra cheese. You can never have too much cheese.2

OH was talking about going out to eat after taking in a movie. But the movie (Dune) finishes at 4:30 so that's much too early to dine. So no idea yet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. tonight I took out some cooked chicken from the roast dinner last week. I’ll do hunters chicken. I’ve got a big sweet potato left which I’ll do fries with and then peas on the side. I do peas a lot (you might have noticed) cause my daughter loves them. I do give her other veg too but peas are her favourite.:money::rotfl::T3
