Pork chops last night were excellent if I do say so myself! Had the butternut squash which was much bigger than anticipated so have half left waiting to be "souped" up. I expect I'll put it into some stock with a couple of big shallots and some lentils - I think we've some yellow ones in the ingredients drawer.
How much soup I make will depend on whether OH shows any interest in it for dinner else it will be mine for lunch at work tomorrow. I was going to mention the presence of tiny prawns in the freezer, some marie rose sauce in the fridge to be used up. Just need a baguette....maybe an avocado.....I could be good and forego the bread and have them on a salad instead."Never retract, never explain, never apologise; get things done and let them howl.”2 -
Cottage pie. Roast parsnips. Roast broccoli and yorkies. Need to make a dent in the extra eggs we seem to have this week. Hopefully will do us 2 nights unless oldest DD descends for tea.3
