OH was going to make a veal marsala last evening but wimped out and ordered Chinese instead.  Very tasty but I was up about 3 times in the night absolutely gasping for a drink of water.  Guess it's the msg or something.

Anyhoo - should be the veal tonight.

It'll either be (kidney) bean balls, spaghetti, sauce and broccoli or homemade katsu sauce with veggie nuggets, rice, cucumber and carrot. Haven't decided yet...wild!

I've suggested the weisswurst that's in the fridge and OH has countered with the frozen duck gizzard dinner that I think we got at Lidl

Went with HM katsu sauce, bit of veg, rice and veggie nuggets. When I have more time I will try it with breaded aubergine and sweet potato but that was a bit much for me tonight!

Everyone enjoyed it and cleared their plates, including the toddler. I would've thinned the sauce a bit more if it was just adults eating but it's a bit of a disaster with DS and he had seconds and thirds of the sauce which was salt-free so he could shovel it in with glee.
