    That sounds lush!

OH is booming on about portion control so we had fish and chips last night (twice as much fish as I could eat and too too many chips which I did try to avoid, a bit) and tonight is lasagna.  I shall try to do a salad bowl for myself to justify having a tiny portion.  Defeats the purpose a bit as OH needs to cut down as well and is not helped by me taking less than 50% even though I am much shorter and weigh less too.

Have just taken burnt aubergine chilli out of the freezer. Just need to cook rice, sweetcorn and bung some tortilla chips on the table. Sorted.

Soup and cheese tonight.  OH was heading off to the shops to buy cigars the cheese and I put in an order for apples as well.  I like cheese and apples, not particularly bothered about soup but I know we have a tin of something beany from Lidl in the cupboard or I could sling a HM one together from bits in the freezer should I feel compelled.

@kerri_gt - love the sound of your retro nuclear glow coloured rice, you did make me chuckle.

I had onion, garlic, cauliflower, leek, fennel, beetroot and carrot curry with cous cous and radishes on the side and am just about to heave myself off the sofa and go in search of a tangerine and some coffee for a belated pudding before I slope off to bed.
