I couldn't be bothered cooking last night after working long hours and OH was not feeling well, he wanted something light. We went for kfc he had wrap meal i had the meal for one thing. Was ok. Out, out tonight and ate at breakfast. Need to get a move on if I want something before i go. Which is cheesy, tomato pasta with a spicy southern fried chicken fillet.
  • Yesterday made bottom of fridge and store cupboard curry which I ate with cous cous followed by tangerine and a coffee, had the same thing this evening on the sofa over a new book.

ended up with chish and fips on Friday night and OH did the liver last night.  NOM!!  followed by strawberries and the last bit of raspberry ice cream.  OH grumbled until advised the expected double cream for the berries was well on the way to cheesdom so had been binned.

tonight will be the pork chops from our favourite farmer/butcher accompanied by a mix of roast vegetables - peppers, courgette, onions, potatoes & plum tomatoes.

Ended up with fish in the bag and some pilau rice (both freeze stock, rice was LO from a takeaway so i froze it).
Might have some Eton mess shortly and just picked the remaining toms off the back garden plants. Still have a few plants in the front.
There's about 5 red ones in a separate bowl bit I've also been eating those as picke so they weren't all as green as it may appear.

I cooked way too many veg yesterday. I have a full set of veg side dishes (carrots and green beans from the garden, creamed parsnip, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and sage/onion stuffing) left over from yesterday's roast chicken dinner so I will probably do a repeat performance of it tonight. There'll be enough leftover roast chicken for that, plus some of the smaller strippings to go in a chicken and veg noodle stir fry thing tomorrow night.

A Monday night roast dinner feels very decadent, somehow :)
