The menu plan says (home made, previously frozen) veg chilli and rice tonight, but I am doing a freezer audit later today so might change my mind depending on what I find!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Second birthday meal out today with my bestie from school, we nearly share the same birthday (3 days apart) Restaurant presented us with a dessert each 💕 tomorrow i may skip eating and have my jaw wired instead  :D

Glad you had a nice birthday.

I do not however recommend having your jaw wired!  It's annoying and you aren't able to brush your teeth properly!!!  yes you'll lose weight but you'll also be a cheap drunk (well I was as I wasn't eating anything) and have to ask random individuals to lick your stamps to put on post cards.  (ok it was a few years back...)
Lol! I'll bear that in mind - although at least stamps are self adhesive these days  ;) Must actually be a horrible thing to have to have done (although the cheap drink would be very MSE). Perhaps I'll just stop being a piggy ....after I've finished these cookies.

Given the indulgences of the prev two days - dinner last night was a reheated LO portion of pasta with some bits of veg in it. Not sure what tonight will be - maybe have a freezer shuffle and see.

  • We were lucky to receive some donated leftovers last night. In that case chips and pizza moved to tonight.

Had some pasta before gym tonight, stirred through a bit of LO sauce from the fridge, fried up some baby plum tomatoes and added in some questionable mozzarella....so if you don't hear from me again you know why....

  • Yesterday was absolutely sweltering here and I'd been out for the afternoon with my walking group so on the way home I picked up a baguette and some f/f cottage cheese from Mr T and ate them with salad at home.
Today was y/s day I had butternut squash baked in oil and smoked paprika with mushrooms baked over sliced leeks with garlic and steamed tenderstem and sugar snap peas followed by coffee.
