Ohhhhh IM that meal looks gorgeous! I often go for a cheeseboard for pudding to keep LC. I am usually cheeky and ask if they can give me celery instead of crackers lol
Had HM LC pizza with ham , piece of pork leftover from a previous dinner from freezer, chicken and chorizo. Made a coffee, pecan & chocolate cake with chocolate ganache using almond flour. It was a huge tray bake cake and I got 24 pieces out of it which have gone in the freezer and will last a couple months.3 -
We went to a nearby town today. Theres a bakery that sells artisan bread but its expensive so tend to buy it as a treat. When we arrived today, it was just shutting, what a disappointment. The Baker was just leaving and apologised and asked me what I wanted. I said a sourdough loaf. He had a big brown paper bag in his hands and said theres one in there and another sort as well, on the house.
When we got home, we had the absolutely gorgeous bread with some picky bits. Mozzarella, pickles, tomatoes, hummus, etc. We were then too full to have anything else.5 -
It's going to be too hot for serious cooking today but I have carrot and coriander soup made and in the fridge which will be lunch and OH wants veggie sausages in a bun for supper which won't take long to put together and we'll have fruit and ice cream afterwards.3

We’ve been invited to lunch by a good friend that we haven’t seen since before lockdown, so whatever is offered will be gratefully received.
if we need anything later we have cheese and I’ve made some seed crackers which are just that, made of seeds, no carbs 👍Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

It’s too warm for cooking today, so I’ll be making a massive salad and adding some sliced pan-fried chicken breast. Might include a small jacket potato each, not sure yet.
We had our first ripe strawberries of the season today, from a basket of them which I had hung in the greenhouse. Only four each, but oh my they were lovely. Looking forward to the outside ones ripening now, we seem to have a really good crop of them.4 -
Vegetarian chicken Caesar burgers (Quorn mini breaded fillets, lettuce, vegetarian hard cheese and Caesar dressing in a cheese topped roll) with curly fries.4

@Smoosh, that sounds lovely. I will give that a go.
We watched the football and then I persuaded husband to get the drill out. Much swearing later, a few jobs were done. I measured for the holes, he did the drilling.
We had a simple dinner, mainly for quickness, salmon done in the oven with jerseys and steamed veg.4
