I've been AWOL for the last week as went away for half term break. Fantastic weather but rather overdid things in the sun.
Today I made steak and kidney pie with cauliflower. Had some stewed rhubarb and yoghurt for pudding.

Oven baked salmon in dill and lemon sauce with new pots and cauliflower for me tonight...again, went with a rather insipid colour pallet, but tasted nice.
I like the idea of channelling Picasso and his colour phases 😁

I had a strange day at work, so popped into m&s foodhall on the way home, where I spotted the pasta, mozzarella and roasted vegetables with a pesto dressing reduced to £1.16. From £4.50. I bought two, some coleslaw, plant food piri piri not chicken, also reduced to £1, and some other bits 3 for £7.
Added some pork leftovers from yesterday and boiled some new potatoes. Enough leftovers for lunches tomorrow as well.

Chicken satay with peanut noodles and cucumber salad. I'm vegan so I'm having vegetable kebabs instead of the satay.
It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
