    Another portion of HM mushroom and broccoli risotto. There's one portion left but that might be headed into the freezer.

    I had salmon, new potatoes, asparagus and tender stem broccoli.
    Others had salmon, prawn and broccoli pasta.
  • 4 year old grandson staying for the week so tonight will be his choice of 'jacket potato with lots of cheese please Oma and lots of crunchy vegetable sticks...will there be peppers? followed by rhubarb crumble (Please Opa can we go to the allotment NOW for some rhubarb) and please Oma can there be custard? so there is!

  • I made a pretty dinner tonight.  Turkey, spinach and red pepper burger in a charcoal bun with a feta and artichoke spread, pickled red onions and masses of salad and oven chips.  
    I can’t move now. 😊

    Having a go at a doner kebab type thing tonight, lamb mince and spices, mine in lettuce wraps, his in flatbreads 
    Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    Aww, that's so sweet boazu! We used to call raw toast "hot bread" when my girls were little.

    Tonight I am doing pan fried sea bass and shredded leeks served with potato chunks and tomato wedges roasted in curry oil.

    @Thelaughingcat that looks beautiful! although have to admit before I read your description I thought your photo was of a burned/cremated bread roll! really inventive and pretty presentation.

    Last night I had pan fried crispy salmon with swede puree, asparagus, green beans and samphire in a creamy lemon sauce.

    Tonight I made crispy spiced beef with lots of stir fried veg in a peanut sauce.
