Well today certainly won't be a bbq unless anyone wants to try and catch soggy bangers as they blow into next door's garden 😳 what a difference to the weather this time last year (though I'll deff take crappy weather in 2021 vs any of 2020 again).
I think I'll need to do a use up dinner, have some mash that was RTC, and some veg. Although I might save the mash for tomorrow with the cauldron of veggie chilli I made up 🤔Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

@Islandmaid -good to have you back again!
Not been on for a couple of days as it was DS's birthday and he had people round for drinks in the garden on Saturday and it has taken a couple of days to get over it!
Yesterday I had a chicken roast dinner and today did a bit of batch cooking to fill the freezer up a little. I made x6 moussaka and had one for tea and four portions of chicken and veg soup.2 -
Bits and pieces of leftovers plus some fresh salad and a few oatcakes and an apple followed by panna cotta with sour cherries and crumble.3

I've had chicken curry too. I made a huge pan of it with shallots, peppers, courgette, spinach, coconut cream and a couple tablespoons of peanut butter to make it thick and creamy. Served it with cauliflower rice and a side of chopped cucumber and shallots with lime juice, sesame seed oil and a splash of vinegar. usually also throw some pomegranate in too but didn't have any in. I made x6 portions to freeze and also had a container of sauce left to freeze for a meal too.
Also made x6 portions of bolognaise to freeze....freezer filling up nicely!2
