If your sinuses are the cause JIL, have you tried using a neti pot? It feels a bit silly and ungainly doing it, but it can really help.

We had a roast beef dinner tonight, with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, steamed spring greens and gravy. The leftover beef will be used to make slow cooked beef and mushroom stroganoff served with tagliatelle tomorrow, and a beef and vegetable curry on Tuesday.

@C_J I have tried a nasal flush with saline which is similar, thank you forthinking about me. I had an operation followed by radiotherapy, I did talk to the dr about them and they think it's the  sinuses not draining properly caused by the treatment  I had. I'm ok today.

We had our usual Monday night dinner of salad with mashed potatoes and spring onions (poundies)  I had tinned tuna  and egg,  others had chicken and ham.

Vegan burgers in toasted buns (both from the feeezer, i am desperately trying to reduce the bread stock in there) with fried onions, beans and i had a little salad.

Tomorrow will prob be fend for yourself as there's still veggie chilli left (OH) and I'll try and dig something from the freezer I expect.

Had Spanish omelette with chorizo, peppers, celeriac(instead of potato)  inside it. A Spanish friend once told me that the traditional way she did it was to do two inch thick omelettes and then put a layer of grated cheese and mayonnaise in between so it looks like a 'cake with filling'. I always do that now and really like it. Served it with salad.

I'm making enchiladas using some chilli from the freezer...and now the freezer is empty! ...except from some coriander, ginger, two sausage patties and some cake.
