  • Sunshine always makes me want a curry so I might do a chicken and sweet potato curry tonight (Keith Floyd recipe and highly recommend!).

Made a lovely new meal today using up stuff from the freezer. Had only one portion of chilli so mixed it with cauliflower rice, mozzarella and chorizo and put inside LC wraps and made an enchilada sauce for on top, and more cheese, and then whacked it in the oven. Was gorgeous and will definitely do again.

Tonight's tea was shocking. i had a number of random bits in my freezer that on their own were not enough for a full meal so I re-heated the lot and served it up as a kind of poor version of Tapas for DS and I.
Two chicken wings (the star of the meal), a solitary sausage roll, some fried chorizo and one KFC style chicken thigh. Served it up with salad. At least I will have an empty freezer by the time the order arrives on Thursday.

    Nothing wrong with that Rach.

I was so looking forward to today, we were going to drive to a nearby town and have lunch, if there were no tables available, we could have a takeaway and sit in the park. Then a nice long dog walk and some bits in the garden.

Unfortunately I woke up with a migraine and spent the day on the sofa.

Dinner was a spanish omelette, bread, calamari and mozzarella and tomato.

@JIL hope your migraine has eased off. Horrific things. Used to get lots of these and always seemed to be on Saturdays when I was off work. Not had one for a few years now.

Had roast chicken, roast vegetables with garlic and crispy diced celeriac.

Thanks both Rach and Kerri. I get them every couple of months, I think it's my sinuses. They always last two days and seems to be easing now.

Didnt do much today, husband put some beef in the slow cooker with a bottle of ale. I made some yorkshire puddings and had a couple of vege sausages, with cauliflower, green beans and broccoli.
