JIL said:We had jacket potatoes and salad. I have started chopping the salad and adding a dressing, its amazing how much more we eat when its served like this.
I had mine with tinned tuna and boiled egg, daughter had mini vegan kievs and husband had leftover pork from yesterday.
My favourite dressing is Delia's almost vinaigrette, which is very basic and no-frills, what's yours?5 -
Yesterday I took 3 cooked sausages - FF + packet of speciality stuffing mix - ood + 2 hard boiled eggs + some of a jar of caramalised red onion chutney + made some short crust pastry to make 2 pies. Used my vintage sandwich tins. We had pie for dinner and 3 day's meals have gone in the freezer.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@goldfinches I make my own dressing, apple cider vinegar, garlic flavoured olive oil from aldi, a bit of mustard a bit of honey and a big shake.
Tonight its salmon and prawn pasta with broccoli and tomatoes. No garlic bread, we haven't got any, and we haven't got any bread to make it.4 -
I'm following an idea I saw on instagram... just fry some leeks, add a few tablespoons of flour and slowly add milk as you stir, chuck in some cheese, a dollop of mustard and some frozen prawns then top with mashed potato and cook in the oven.
I thought it sounds lovely, and easy too!4 -
that sounds great - we had chicken with a cheesy gratin top, then spinach and cauliflower rice with garlicI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3
