Supper was YS Chicken Tikka Saag with L1dl Curry Paste and HM cauliflower rice (we're on low carb).  OH made a lovely yoghurt and mint jelly raita

Hope you don't mind a newbie joining in, somewhat miscalculated the budget this month so looking to go low - with 5 Adults in the house and on average me and OH buying and cooking for 3.5 I'm going to need some inspiration
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • We had pork with crispy crackling, HM yorkies, new potatoes, green beans and carrots with gravy.

  • Tonight I'm making a chicken casserole with a pack of chicken thigh fillets. I've got lots of onion, carrot and celery in the stew itself, and will serve with mashed potato and green beans.

I've just defrosted a large pack of minced beef, so half of it will be used to make a beef, onion and mushroom pie for tonight and the other half will be turned into a keema pea curry for tomorrow night.
  • Tonight we had HM chicken and mushroom pie, crinkle cut chips (as I’ve run out of potatoes), broccoli and green beans.

We had jacket potatoes and salad. I have started chopping the salad and adding a dressing, its amazing how much more we eat when its served like this.
I had mine with tinned tuna and boiled egg, daughter had mini vegan kievs and husband had leftover pork from yesterday.
