Had HM meat and potato pie but used sliced celeriac instead of spuds. It worked really well.2

Had parsnip, red lentil and carrot soup which I whizzed with my wand so that it's a lovely thick gloop, the recipe needed 2 bramleys which were out of stock when I was shopping for the ingredients so I subbed in the carrots instead.
It tastes lovely but came out a sort of catsick yellow !!!!!! khaki colour which is just as appealing as it sounds.
Had toasted brown bread and a small knob of strong cheddar with it followed by a clementine.3 -
I'm doing a toad in the hole tonight, with mashed potato, green beans and cabbage.3

We had all day breakfast with mushrooms, bacon, tomato, sausage, egg and toast. Had some jelly and cream for pudding.2

Had some meatballs that needed eating so the male members of the household had those with tagliatelle and tomato sauce. I was influenced by our kitchen Echo Show which was showing delicious pics and recipes of Caesar salad all day, so I had a chicken Caesar salad which was YUM.Books read 2023 - 49/752

We had sausage, onions, mashed potatoes, savoy, peas,gravy and Yorkshire puddings.
Husband had pork sausages and daughter and I had Richmond vegan sausages which I usually love but for some reason tonight's were very peppery.3
