  • Had HM meat and potato pie but used sliced celeriac instead of spuds. It worked really well.

Had parsnip, red lentil and carrot soup which I whizzed with my wand so that it's a lovely thick gloop, the recipe needed 2 bramleys which were out  of stock when I was shopping for the ingredients so I subbed in the carrots instead.
It tastes lovely but came out a sort of catsick yellow !!!!!! khaki colour which is just as appealing as it sounds.
Had toasted brown bread and a small knob of strong cheddar with it followed by a clementine.

    Vegetarian mince chilli and rice
  • We had all day breakfast with mushrooms, bacon, tomato, sausage, egg and toast. Had some jelly and cream for pudding.
  • Had some meatballs that needed eating so the male members of the household had those with tagliatelle and tomato sauce. I was influenced by our kitchen Echo Show which was showing delicious pics and recipes of Caesar salad all day, so I had a chicken Caesar salad which was YUM.
