Last night we had an Indian takeaway. I had mixed tandoori with a side dish of saag paneer.
Tonight I have made persian lamb tagging to use up a jar of preserved lemons I bought that has been lingering in the cupboard for ages. I had it served with mixed salad, aubergine dip and low carb bread toasted. It was lovely and will definitely make again. For pudding I had an apple and almond pudding with cream.5 -
We're having Jamie's roast tikka chicken from his 5 Ingredients book. Haven't tried it before, but it smells lovely!Books read 2023 - 49/755

Had home-made parsnip, carrot and red lentil soup with wholemeal flatbread, last little bit of parmesan and am just going to have an easy peeler before I slope off to bed with a good book.
It's too flaming cold and windy here for me to want to be anywhere but tucked up with my electric blanket and hot water bottles, night all and sweet dreams, goldfinches.5 -
Daughter was up last night unwell after her kebab. So she just had some soup for her dinner. I did feel a little sorry for her, but could have done without the disturbed sleep.
Husband had some beef, I had nut roast with Yorkshire pudding, gravy, green beans, kale, cauliflower and roasted potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onions.3 -

Tonight may be stir fry - I have some pepper veg to put in it and sauce, but just depends if the noodles I've hoiked out of the freezer have defrosted by dinnertime or not.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
