    We had stew and dumplings.
Veggie for daughter and I. Husband had some pre stewed stewing steak mixed in with his. Vegan quorn and butter beans went in the veggie.

We had liver & bacon casserole + dumplings + roasted potato bits for dinner. 3 more day's dinners to go in freezer.

  • Yesterday we had stir fried veggie noodles with sweet chilli and garlic, teriyaki chicken, veggie gyoza and prawn crackers. Was delish.
Today I had a fit of can’t-be-arsed ness and rather than phoning for a takeaway, we had sausages, home made chips and baked beans.

    sounds yummy - both days.
Not sure what tonight will be - maybe LO haggis to use that up if OH doesn't want it. Otherwise maybe some risotto in the freezer.
Got a £1.50 veg box from Lidl the other day and some Meatless Farm mince RTC so plan to perhaps cook up a veggie lasagne this weekend

Yesterday I made a bolognese pasta bake. There was quite a lot of the bolognese mince left over so today I have zhuzhed that up with some chopped chillis, chilli powder, a drained carton of black beans, half a leftover red pepper, a handful of grated cheese and some cooked rice. It has made enough to fill six burritos and as we will only manage one each tonight, the rest will go in the freezer for another (two) time(s).
  • I've had a turkey curry made on boxing day from the freezer. Apple and almond bake for pudding.
