Both actually had the same thing for once, fish in the bag and wholegrain / red rice. I did have the end of a bag of petit pois with mine too.
Roast ordered for tomorrow so no cooking here.

What recipe do you use for the yoghurt dough? I've seen you mention it a few times.

I just mix a 45p  - was when I last bought it  As..natural yogurt with 2 tubs ( I keep a spare yogurt Pot) of SR flour. Mix to a dough then knead for 5 minutes on floured board. I let the dough rest in a covered bowl for 10 minutes then cut off a third to make a 12 inch base. I freeze the lo dough to make 2 more pizzas.

After house sale 8th Jan, in temp accomm in old lady's house, with ancient cooker & hob, small fridge & limited freezer space. Missing my own kitchen but hoping to move again in 2 weeks, so trying to keep it simple.

Last night was baked salmon with wasabi mayo & breadcrumb topping, new spuds, asparagus & sweetcorn. Followed by (bargain) Co-op GF salted caramel profiteroles with chocolate sauce & fresh raspberries.

Tonight I'm making Greek pork tavas (one pot meal but enough to freeze for us both again), remaining profiteroles, raspberries & banana.

Almost wine (or rather G&T) o'clock to calm the house move stress ;)

Tavas took 45 minutes longer than it should to cook, but was well worth the wait!
Tonight is some local leeks, wrapped in ham then baked in cheese sauce. Probably with a small crispy jacket potato on the side. Pud will be eat whatever you can find :D

Thank you. Haven't made HM pizzas for ages.
We've just had first snow here and back from a lovely walk. All the kids are out playing on the green which is lovely,  lots of snowmen built (I'll be watching closely to see if any move later, although if you don't watch Doctor Who that will make no sense)
Collecting a roast later from the pub.  Can't wait.

  • We had green thai curry last night with rice, kids had macaroni cheese.
Tonight was meant to be beef casserole with dumplings, but enjoying the snow meant it was too late to put it on, so it’s fish and chips from the freezer instead!!
