We also had meatballs, the birds eye vegan ones for daughter and me.
Husband had Iceland meatballs.
Daughter had hers with some vegan filled pasta, and some Ratatouille from the freezer.
Husband and me had tagliatelle with a mascarpone and tomato sauce.
We had a load of rocket with it.
Simple but surprisingly good.4 -
We were also supposed to having meatballs tonight but I’ve got some bacon in the fridge that needs using up, so am going to make bacon, mushroom and spinach pasta instead, served with salad and garlic bread. We had sausages and mustard mash for dinner last night.Books read 2023 - 49/753

Oven chips, oven steak pie. Mushy peas for me and OH has chosen ravioli to have with his.
Then biscuit tin...3 -
I think my vitamin d needs a boost, so I had tuna and eggs, avocado, jacket potato and salad.
Husband had salad, breaded chicken and chips.
Daughter had chips, salad, corn on the cob and a katsu curry thing that flopped all over the baking tin and did not look at all appetising.

I had a pack of diced pancetta in the freezer left over from Christmas, so I whipped up a batch of pastry and made a pancetta, red onion and ricotta tart. We had that with salad and some home made potato salad, and there’s plenty left for tomorrow night’s supper too.3

I had an all day breakfast for tea. Sausages, tomato, bacon, eggs, toast (low carb) and oyster mushrooms from a mushroom growing kit DH bought me for Christmas. They were lovely fried in butter. Bit chewier than normal mushrooms and we are hoping for a 2nd or 3rd crop too.3
