Had the black bean and chipotle chilli with cous cous, lime pickled onions, sour cream and coriander with cucumber and radishes on the side for lunch and then another portion of the chilli, onions, sour cream and basil leaves with frozen sweetcorn for dinner followed by single gloucester for afters.

Chicken /broccoli /cheesy pasta. OH can have tomato pasta instead he isn't keen on cheese.
  • Last night we had pasta with a HM chorizo/mushroom/olive tomato sauce, and I also made a macaroni cheese for eldest, then portioned up the leftovers for his school lunch in a thermos.
Tonight we had The Hairy Dieters sweet and sour chicken with rice. Realised at the end that I’d run out of cornflour but googled it and used plain flour instead.

  • Needed a quick meal as spent last few hours wrapping presents so burger in a bun with salad, cheese, gherkin, sauces did the trick.

Last night we had a takeaway delivered (Nepalese curry, it was deeeelicious!) and tonight we’re back to home made (spaghetti bolognese).

All the Christmas stocking gifts have now been wrapped, and cards all written ready for posting tomorrow. I am about to celebrate with a cheeky glass of wine 😀

Blackbean chilli here with coconut rice, petits pois and sweetcorn plus onions and dill seeds from the empty gherkin jar and lime juice and sour cream topping. Had a glass of beer with it and some mixed nuts and dried fruit for afters.

I had a tin of baked beans with veg sausages.  I really couldn't be bothered to cook and decided if nobody would cook for me I wasn't cooking for anyone else.

Absolutely agree. Everyone gets their own breakfast around here, but I do all lunches and dinners throughout the week and sometimes it just feels like I spend my whole time in the kitchen or clearing up 🙄
So today I decided to take advantage of being in Tier 2 and have booked us a late lunch at a local Italian, anyone who is hungry later can help themselves to cheese and biscuits 🙌
