House purchase fell through Wednesday, sale going ahead we hope, so need to find rental at short notice. Need easy comfort food (and alcohol). Some sleep would help too.1 -
Thurs night we had kfc
Last night oven mac and cheese / lasagne and Yorkshire puddings. A bit random but I like something along with the mac and cheese, usually bread, none in house so YPs next best thing.
Tonight steak and rice.

Lockdown tradition is HM pizza and a movie on a Saturday night, however today I had to go to the big Tescos, so spent £10 on their pizza deal - two pizzas, two sides and a dip stacker. Cheaper than a takeaway but not as nice as homemade 🤷♀️ Fed us all amply whilst watching The Hunger Games as DS1 had just finished the books.Books read 2023 - 49/750

Tonight I chucked some diced skinless boneless chicken breasts into a wok with some diced shallot, garlic, mushroom and red chilli and added some ketjap manis, soy, miso paste and honey. It was served with a little bit of rice, and lots of stir fried veg.
