  • Spag bol with garlic bread here - clean plates all round, even though the bolognese contained a whole grated courgette (no-one noticed 👍)!

  • Dinner tonight was gammon and a side of those Batchelor pasta and sauce for the family. I added extra sliced peppers and some mushrooms that were on its way out. I had left over chicken, with broccoli and cauliflower. Then sugar free jelly and cream for afters

Out for dinner tonight, thought we'd get out before BJ grounds us all for a month. Town was really busy for a Tuesday night, clearly everyone had the same idea. Lots of places still doing the Eat Out promo too, deff makes a midweek meal out more affordable.

Some kind of pre-lockdown miracle has happened and, for the first time since March, tonight I only have to cook for MYSELF 😳 🤗 Both kids have play dates and DH is out with friends. The Peace! The Quiet! I will be celebrating with Tom Yum noodles under a blanket on the sofa, and full control of the tv 👍

Finishing the Bolognese with some waffles leaving a bit more room in the freezer. Found something similar to Bolognese in there too, seems to have some lentils and kidney beans in it though. Anyway, this has been mixed in with dinner too. Bit more room now in the freezer.

Quick and easy dinner tonight. DH had Quorn nuggets, I had soya meatball-type thingies, we both had spicy potato wedges, peas and carrots. Coffee and a hot cross bun after.

I had pasta with roasted veg, feta and olives. It was lovely. Plenty left for lunch.
Daughter and husband had spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread.
