  • Beef casserole in the slow cooker, with broccoli cheese, boiled potatoes and cabbage. This was meant to be yesterday’s dinner but I was - ahem - a bit worse for wear.....!

  • Changed plan last night had gammon, egg and chips. Tonight will be gammon, veg etc.

    Pie (cheese, potato and leek for me, steak for OH) with mash, broccoli and gravy.

    Not feeling great so husband cooked. I had watercress and spinach, tuna, boiled egg, avocado, tomatoes and sweet potatoes. Just to try to eat something healthy.
    Husband had pork pie, chicken leftover from yesterday, salad and oven chips.
    Daughter eating out.

    Oh goodness,  i opened a bottle of gin last night, not sure why, i poured freehand..it was a very very bad idea esp on a 'school' night 🤦‍♀️ to say i spent the entire day feeling below par is an understatement. 
    Dinner tonight is going to be reheated lamb casserole and a side portion of self sympathy.

    Pasta sauce (tomatoes, garlic, onions, lots of herbs from the garden), cooked for a couple of hours with chunks of sausages l.o from toad in the hole yesterday. And pasta!
    L.o strudel and custard.

    Tonight I am making tagliatelle with a roasted aubergine, squash, chilli and sun dried tomato sauce (all sauce ingredients from the garden - this makes me so happy!).
