We had fajitas, mine were halloumi, mushrooms, courgettes and peppers, husband had chicken and pepper and extra spiced.
I keep getting heartburn so I had mine without the bread and very mild to see if it makes a difference.4 -
I'm just stopping by to have a small boast about yesterday's dinner which was made almost entirely from y/s bargains yet still stuck to the meal plan.
Made puff pastry topped with blue cheese sauce, baby leeks, rosemary, orange thyme and stilton, accompanied by tenderstem broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas and new potatoes plus romaine lettuce hearts.
All were y/s bargains picked up this week apart from the rosemary and thyme which came from my window ledge and a tablespoonful of rapeseed oil from bottle to sweat the leeks and homemade vinaigrette dressing for the lettuce.
It made eight portions of pie with ten portions of potatoes both to eat cold for the rest of the week and is delicious both hot and cold.
Happy eating to all, goldfinches.9 -
I made steak fried with courgette, peppers and onion with creamy peppercorn sauce with splash of wine. Served it with big field mushrooms and celeriac fries. Had a little Keto carrot cup cake for pudding that I made some time ago and froze.3
